The bar area is very small, and there were a dozen craft beers made by this brewery on tap. I got the Flamingo Del Sol and it was pretty solid for a Mexican lager. I also got a margarita, which was rather pricey for the size (it came in a martini glass), but it was made with Pennsylvania spirits, so at least you’re supporting local.
As for the food, it was pretty standard lunch-type food. A lot of creative sandwiches, plus a few wraps, flatbreads, and salads. I got the Whooping Crane and it was decent, but the pretzel bun was a little sweet for my liking. The house made chips were good, but my husband got sweet potato fries with his Rainbow Parrot, both of which were probably the standout dishes for me. Again, the prices are high for the portion sizes, and I feel like the upcharge for the fries over the chips wasn’t really worth it. However, it was quiet and a chill atmosphere, so not all bad.
Also wanted to try their beer flights, since that was something relatively new for this location. My favorite is the “Irregular For Our Regulars” IPA. Looks like they’ve converted the front of the restaurant into a bar area, and are also serving cocktails and alcoholic seltzers.
They were spacing out customers for my visit, due to COVID. Masks were worn by employees, and customers when not eating. Looks like they’ve expanded their take-out/curbside spaces close to the restaurant to deal with demand.
