I had a wonderful experience during my recent visit. My blackened salmon Caesar salad was absolutely delicious—perfectly seasoned, fresh, and satisfying. The rest of my group enjoyed their lunches just as much, which made the meal even better.
The restaurant has a cozy, welcoming atmosphere, and even though the parking lot was packed and the dining room was full, the energy felt lively rather than overwhelming. We were seated upstairs, where I really enjoyed the music and the relaxed vibe.
The cocktails I’ve had here in the past have always been phenomenal—both in flavor and presentation—and this visit reminded me why I keep coming back.
On top of all that, the service was excellent. Both the hostess and our waitress greeted us with genuine smiles and made us feel right at home.
Overall, it was a lovely experience from start to finish, and I’m already looking forward to my next visit.

Had lunch with friends and we all had a great meal. My steakhouse burger was great. They hand form them so they are thick and juicy and it was cooked the way I asked. One of my companions had the jerk chicken with cauliflower rice and asparagus. Wow! I’m ordering that the next time I go, which will be soon.

Stopped by for a good bite to eat so we didn’t have to cook after a long day. Definitely the right option! We were able to walk in and be seats right away. They have a good drink selection and a lots of menu options especially burgers. We opted for a burger and the fish and chips. The best part is the old bay seasoned fries with the cheese side sauce. The food came out quickly and hot and our server was great. The atmosphere during the week is great; you can just unwind and relax.

Laid back atmosphere, great for kids. Looks like a great place to bring a large party as well. Food is delicious! We got Buffalo cauliflower Caesar salad, jerk chicken sandwich, Swiss burger, kids Mac n cheese (not Kraft!), and kids chicken tenders. Everyone left happy and full with enough left overs for lunch the next day!

Our first time trying this restaurant after a few recommendations. We were certainly not disappointed in the food, it was delicious and we were both extremely satisfied with what we had. We were sat in the bar which was not an issue for atmosphere but the bartender could obviously not juggle bartending and serving. We waited an unreasonable amount of time to have him come to the table. Then waited for additional service and then waited a ridiculous amount of time for the bill as he ate a late lunch at the bar.
The verdict is still out if we’ll give it another try. We loved the food but there needed to be wait staff in the bar area.

Great pub with exceptional beer list. Our server, Amanda, was amazing-prompt, helpful, watchful and friendly. She made our dinner experience amazing! The burgers are delicious as they get the best quality meat delivered fresh. The French fries are perfectly cooked and not greasy. The bar has great ambiance. Fun place!

Isaac Newton’s is not a pleasurable dining experience. The food is ok, maybe even a few things very good, however, the owner is a haughty curmudgeon and makes the entire experience not worth it in any way. Over the last few years, I would forget about the prior negative experience with this person and think, “maybe it’s better” or “maybe he won’t be around.” The most recent visit, he was working the front and he acted as though he was doing me a gigantic favor getting my takeout order, along with speaking to his teen female worker as if she were a serf. Guess what, Chief, your food isn’t that good and your barely hidden arrogance is absolutely breathtaking.
If you haven’t ever been here, do yourself a favor and walk one block to the Temperance House, where you will be greeted as if you are an old friend, welcomed into a friendly atmosphere with good food and friendly, old fashioned hospitality.
ps: I don’t work for any restaurants, I’m not related to anyone in restaurants and this review is probably five years or so in the making, with my last experience with Glenn being the straw that broke the camel’s back and led me to finally sit and devote a final few minutes to Isaac Newton’s as a memorial send off from one customer.

Friendly atmosphere and attentive waitstaff. Everything else is off the rails. Overcooked hamburger, meat dry, and flavorless. Cooper American barely melted. Fries cold. Ordered an extra dry Beefeater martini. Received a cocktail shaker of mostly vermouth. My wife had an ok meatloaf with some well prepared vegetables. Did not seem that anybody was in charge but the place has been around so long that they must think it can run on autopilot. The kitchen really needs to be more attentive. my burger was really terrible.
