This place has always had a special place in our hearts. 4his was the first sushi restaurant I took my wife to when she moved to the States as it was literally across the street from us and even though we’ve moved we continue to come back here because the sushi, memories, service and atmosphere are well worth it.

I visited for dinner on a Saturday evening as a walk-in. Parking is easy because the restaurant is in a big plaza. It was a full restaurant but thankfully no wait. I shared the “Omakase” menu items that included sashimi (chef’s choice) and sushi (included bluefin tuna belly, snapper, eel, etc.) and it was delicious! We also tried the garlic edamame, a spicy tuna cut roll and toro scallion cut roll, blue crab hand roll, and California hand roll, and they were also all delicious. The food quality was great and fresh. The ambiance feels authentic and the service is fantastic.

Super fresh sushi and high quality meat (like the wagyu). The apps and rolls are good too but not the best I’ve ever had! The whole atmosphere of the place and sitting on the floor makes it feel extra special.

My go-to sushi spot! The menu has much more than sushi as well which makes it easy to take just about anyone here. People love sitting on the floor and the food is always spectacular. The staff is fantastic as well. I love the hot night roll, the eggplant appetizer and the udon!

Food is great but pricing is, by my estimate, like 10-15% more than comparable joints in the area. For the prices charged, I think the restaurant really could use just one or two waiting staff so more attention is paid to each table.
