We made a reservation even though we went during the week so it wasn’t necessary but they had a nice quiet table waiting for us. We had a drink at the bar before dinner. As you can see we ordered the tomahawk ribeye to share and it was cooked perfectly. It comes with two sides so I got some veggies and husband got baked potato. Our waitress was attentive and checked on an appropriate number of times while we ate….about 3 minutes after it was served and then again about 1/2 way through. The atmosphere is cool and again, that steak was one for the record books!!

So good we came twice in one night. The food and presentation was absolutely phenomenal. The bartender Mike really makes the place a must return. He made me the most incredible chocolate martini, as a nightcap. Earlier in the evening he made a mean dirty martini! He and my husband talked bourbon and whiskey, what a guy. We are coming back specifically to see him again and try that tomahawk!

Great little hidden gem! Yes, the food and atmosphere are wonderful. The attentive service was the icing on the cake.
Wonderful steak (preferred the ribeye over the New York Strip) and sides. We really enjoyed the creamy spinach side. The drinks were a testament to the craftsmanship of the bartender. The old fashioned hit all the right notes. Just made for a great evening!
My only regret is not saving room for dessert… Perhaps next time.

This was our first time at Ironworks. We recently moved to the area a year ago and never knew this hidden gem was sitting right in the heart of Tavares on Lake Dora.
Michael is an AMAZING bartender and makes some pretty “dangerous” cocktails!!! Kate took exceptional care of us and was super personable and attentive. This will be one of our regular Go-To’s from now on and we were so pleased with everything all around.
We had the ribeye, it was perfectly seasoned, and highly recommend it. Didn’t take foodie pics of our entree because we wanted to dive right in but took other photos from our dining experience tonight.

Incredible food, outstanding service. Kristina, our server was friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. Such a sweetheart! Michael, the chief bartender, is a master mixologist with so much restaurant and culinary experience, I look forward to his interpretation of his next set of seasonal libations. Chef Joey is a talented young artist to be taken seriously. He’s so gifted, and he elevates his cuisine to such a level beyond what one would expect in this smallish central FL town, I hesitate to refer to him as “Joey”. Maybe “Chef de Cuisine Joseph”. Thank you for an incredible evening. We’ll be back!

The food was phenomenal!! We had a a work function at the Skybar on top of the Citrus hotel this week and started talking to our group on some food options in the area. My Sister came up with let’s try Ironworks because none of us had been there before so the group agreed. I got the Tomahawk with the loaded potato and ceaser salad. I’ll i can say is it was the best cut of steak I have had in recent years. So flavorful and cooked perfectly medium rare . My sister and brother-in-law both had perfectly cooked filets and my wife had the best duck plate that I have ever had ! Aubrey was our server and she was absolutely awesome!! For dessert we had the banana fosters that was made tableside with the whole fire and theatrics….man was it amazing!! Everything was amazing and made it a great pre birthday meal …i.might have to come back on my bday !! Great job to the chef and staff everything was amazing

We stayed in the hotel above this place and thought we would go try it out. From the sweet lady at the front that sat us at the bar and the bar tender “Micheal” we had the best time and meal. Food was prepared amazing and display of it as well. The salad was a hit along with my husband’s steak that was cooked to perfection, soft and just right.. flavor was outta this world. The atmosphere was awesome, everyone was so kind and friendly drinks were so amazing. Micheal helped us on choosing food decisions and drinks for the night! Watching him prepare them was great! He is definitely an asset!
We will be returning! Cost wasn’t bad for 2 and drinks.. $85 plus tip. We pay that at our local Outback .. lol

First time eating here and the food was phenomenal, 10 out of 10. We have no idea why there’s not a line out the door. Brittany was an amazing great server, had suggestions all the way around super friendly, made us very comfortable. Mike the bartender made great custom old-fashioneds for my husband and son. Zero complaints. We ordered the New York Strip, the hamburger, The prime rib and Caesar salad annnnd bananas fosters, everything was phenomenal. Definitely recommend!

The industrial old fashioned was one of the best I’ve had.
The steaks were all perfect, I also had an add on of shrimp.
The desserts were amazing too.

Incredible food! The service was very good, our waitress Brittany recommended the meatball appetizer & it did not disappoint. My husband had the duck which was very tender. My filet was cooked to perfection. This is a return visit & will definitely come back again. Looking forward to the next seasonal menu.
