We ate at this restaurant after going to the spa for a massage. The food was really good! We had the hummus and pimiento dip as an appetizer and then a flat bread and grilled cheese on noble bread for our entrees. Everything was fantastic. Just dropping it to four stars because our server disappeared for probably half an hour towards the end when we were trying to leave. Other than that, everything was great. We would definitely return and try some of their cocktails next time!

1st time in Scottsdale, AZ for a trip with husband’s company. Arrived around noon, room not quite ready, so we opted to go ahead and eat lunch and they’d text us when it was ready. Ironwood is just 1 of many in this huge property, but only 2 were open at this hour. Beautifully decorated, open air seating inside or outside available. Sadly, the food was exceptional but was difficult to enjoy because the service was so poor. About 20 minutes after being seated, we were finally brought water by someone who was not a waiter, but who informed us that our waiter would be coming soon. After another 15 minutes the same man who wasn’t a waiter returned to clean some tables at which point we informed him that we’re very hungry and would like to place an order.

Not sure why but even though they have many open tables, we were led into a dungeon like area with screaming children. Waitress told us that’s the party area but we were only two adults. Later on another minority couple was put in the same area. Coincidence? Menu was very limited. Only decent option was prime rib but they ran out. So I ordered curry children, which came out room temperature with no flavor. My partner’s burger tastes not better than inn-out.

It was a holiday. The flavor was good. Wait staff was often absent. Two of our sides were forgotten. One of 3 childrens dishes was out over five minutes later than the others. Two of us ordered tha dame dish with different sides, but the entree.came out completely different. Beautiful atmosphere. Lovely dining setting.
