Hands down the best bbq spot in the area. The staff, Kurt, Preston, JP, Doc, Lydia, Ashley and Brittany were the team today. Everyone is very inviting and friendly, it definitely gives a family atmosphere. We eat here 1-2 times a month and it hasn’t let us down. We always have more than enough to take home, the cost is well worth the amount of food. We have recommended this establishment to several friends, who now frequent as well. Highly recommend!

Delicious food! I have been looking for a place who does good hash and rice, and I found it! The moment I tried the food, I fell in love! I had the pulled pork plate with hash and rice, and mac & cheese. My husband and son got the brisket Ruben, and we couldn’t stop saying how delicious it was. We will definitely be back!

Would have never spent $80 on 3 plates if I would have known it was gonna be this bad!! So if you want to just give away money then come here because the food wasn’t edible. Coleslaw was so dry it was just dry chopped cabbage with huge pickle chunks in it. Mac and cheese was so dry it was literally crumbles of crap. My 4 year old wouldn’t even eat it. It was very clear everything sat under a heat lamp or in a steam well for some hours. “Wagyu” brisket was so dry it was like eating a well done steak. The $35 beef Dino rib was straight fat and couldn’t even be eaten. I get it was an hour before close but if that’s the case then just don’t serve food. This was so disappointing and I absolutely wouldn’t recommend!! I can’t believe anyone who takes any type of pride in their business would have even let this quality of food go out like this especially when for these prices.I wish my food turned out the way it looks in some of these reviews but for us that wasn’t the case.

Edit:here’s the receipt. I know what I ordered and arguing me is crazy. I wouldn’t post something that didn’t come from the place. So the order wasn’t “reviewed carefully” enough.

Editing my post: Kurt is an owner that truly cares about his customers ! I am very satisfied with how he handled the situation and he and his team are working to make sure this does not happen again.

I used to love this place especially because my husband and I love brisket. The last 3 times now that we have gone , the brisket has been on the dry side. I remember when the building first opened, my husband and I came, and let me tell you, the brisket was amazing!!! It’s was moist, had the fat on it, the portion sizes were great, we had enough on our plates to the point we were able to take it home and eat it later that night. Now, I literally would rather take the extra time to go to Augusta to Jim N Nicks, where the portion of brisket they give you is a lot more and the brisket is always juicy. The photo I have attached is from today, and I’m disappointed that this is how the food was, especially the brisket (the most important part of the plate). I literally trashed both plates because of how dry the brisket was. I wasted almost $50 today! Please go back to the way ya’ll were when you opened the building.

This new restaurant in the CSRA is delicious!! I tried the delicious brisket Reuben! Highly recommended!! If you’re looking for a true Texas style barbecue restaurant this is it. Great customer service and even better food. Don’t believe me check…. it out for yourself.

Whew Kurt, you showed up and showed the heck out. This is what I call brisket. Thank you for hearing me and my husband out. This brisket was seriously on point. It has the marbling and was juicy. My husband and I truly appreciate how you listen to your customers and you take action. You are what I call a great business owner!

Me and my husband wanted BBQ and decided to give this place a try after googling. The service was ok. Place is nice and clean. Food tasted ok. The baked beans were good, but my pulled pork and Mac n cheese were very greasy, it bothered my stomach. We did give it a try though…

Slim Jim & Beef Jerky Backyard Band
We started with loaded fries. Amazingly good and quick. The brisket, pulled pork, was very good. The sides Mac and cheese were good, hash and rice was delicious. The star of the sides was collards. OMG I could make a meal with them. I really enjoyed it. It dont break the bank to eat there. Will be back for sure!

The food is impeccable but I have to hand it to your staff. you have an amazing team here!!! Teagan Cullen and Mason all did an amazing job and were extremely friendly.

Even more exciting, I’m so happy to see a familiar face general managing this location. CJ is a fabulous personality who is knowledgeable in the food and processes that make this location tick. I’m a bit biased as my wife and I have also met CJ at his other jobs within the CSRA and we were surprised to see him managing here as well very talented individual

The food is to die for. We tried the jalapeno creamed corn and the pulled pork mac n cheese and collards. Everything was seasoned and tasted to perfection. We know our food for sure as well. Love this location and is now our go to when it comes to both food and staff.

To the owner you have a great staff under you and keep doing what you’re doing. We will be back.
