It felt just like those afternoons spent watching Hannah Montana balance her wild double life with her regular one, all with that same upbeat energy. I have gotten good meals there, but today was terrible. We were seated and the waitress brought us some muddy looking tea. I ordered the beef tips and rice which came with a salad bar and soup. She said I will get your plates for the salad bar. She waited on someone else, and immediately brought them a plate. I motioned for her, but she didn’t stop. I waited a while longer, the lady got her salad and had eaten most of it when I went to find her. She finally brought me my plates and I asked her what was the deal on the soup. She said they had bean or vegetable. I asked for vegetable but never got it. After I ate my salad we finally got our meals. I got beef tips (they were pretty good) and mashed potatoes with gravy. I told her that I ordered rice and the waitress said I will get you rice. I never saw that either. I tried to eat some of the mashed potatoes, bit the gravy was awful. I went to look for our waitress again to get refills ony tea, some salt and pepper and napkins. She did bring that out and I asked her for some more beef tips ( they were all you could eat) about 20 minutes later she walked by and dropped the check on the table. I was so disgusted I just took it and went to the register. The lady asked if I wanted to leave a tip and I told her no, did she have a complaint form. She said the manager was there and called her up
Her name was Kathy, she was very nice and asked who it was, i told her the thin blond who has been serving people with her mask down on her throat. She took my name and said she was going to comp me a meal. My partner who ate his mashed potatoes and gravy has been sick at his stomach for the last 2 days. This was a terrible experience from a place that has served me some good meals in the past.

Went in for breakfast this morning and had the worst experience. Decided to have the breakfast buffet and probably shouldn’t have. The meats were in pans and covered with water, even the bacon. I tried them anyway and they were water logged. The eggs were incredibly dry and the gravy has been watered down. No pancake on the bar for over 30 minutes. The salad bar was not stocked and you could see the inside of the cooler and the 3 inches of ice built up in it. I’m pretty sure that is a health code violation as it doesn’t allow for proper cooling of the bar.

The waitress was inattentive and spent most of her time staring at her computer. I was there close to an hour and she only checked on me 4 times, once when she took my drink order, again when she brought my drink a minute later, once when she happened to pass by and finally when she brought my check. She didn’t offer to refill my drink until after it had been sitting empty for over 40 minutes and I had to wait about 30 minutes after I was done eating for her to bring my check.

She half hearted apologized and claimed she was the only one there but there was another person covering the other folks in the dining area and they came in after me and left before me. It wasn’t busy at all, even for one person.

Got breakfast for two to go. If you want to know how to screw up pancakes go here. They were horrible. Asked for extra syrup when my order was ready and they had forgotten my pancakes, they made them real quick and ended up giving me 1 syrup and 3 sugar free syrup. Was that a hint? They were inedible, tasted bad. They forgot my bacon also. Biscuits and gravy were mediocre at best. Took almost an hour to get everything…well…almost everything. The last 10 minutes I was waiting was for nothing as my food was already sitting at the register when I got there they just didnt realize it. I understand being shorthanded but at least the food quality should be good. 1 star because the staff was friendly during a stressful time for them.

The 1 and only star represents the staff as they were nice. Four of us had dinner and are suffering stomachaches. My husband ordered the all you can eat spaghetti for $14.99. It tasted like canned spaghetti over cooked and dried out added with entirely too much oregano. He ordered a second helping of garlic bread which seemed to be microwaved and briefly put on the grill. I ordered 12 fried shrimp and a 5 ounce steak. Shrimp was baby sized and the steak was flavorless. For $17.99, I expected bigger shrimp. My one guest ordered a breakfast meal and my other guest ordered fried chicken tenders. We all had water. Our bill before tip came to $62.28. We’ve eaten better for less at many steakhouses. My heart goes out to anyone who thinks this is good food. Do yourself a favor, eat at the fast food places instead. It’s cheaper and probably tastes better.

I ordered a burger and it looked and tasted good.
I am only giving three stars because I wanted to get the salad bar but it looked gross. Hopefully, that is not the norm.
The waitress was nice and the place looked clean. Prices are competitive.

I ordered the chicken strip salad and my husband ordered the spaghetti. The lettuce was brown and wilted. The rest of the salad tasted ok. My husband’s spaghetti was a small portion of spaghetti with some plain tomato sauce on top. It had no meat and no flavor. It was definitely not worth the price. Thankfully neither of us got sick from it.

02/25/2020 8:23pm local time, first I really like this Petro very clean always roomy and plenty of food options, but today (the date above) I went to the actual sit down and relax restaurant and it blow my mind, it was full most tables with one customer and the tables that where empty where dirty even with plates of old food, the section where the counter tops are was closed so there was no place to sit, I went two time and walked around, people where leaving but there was no one cleaning tables for new customers, I asked the cashier and she told me (she couldn’t do anything because she was at the register) buffet was also unattended, there was two empty bins and in one large bin there was ONE piece of baked chicken left. So I decided to leave and out side there was a server talking on the phone and smoking a cigarette, so I decided to call and speak with the manager on the way to my truck at the back of the parking and guess what, NO Manager on site at 8:23pm i was even transferred to her office MS. Kathy Walters and no answer. I’m guessing NO Manager this is way restaurant was a mess and servers where NOT doing there job.

Server was sweet and honest about the menu. My brother in law enjoyed his meal and the eggs in my older were cooked just right (still light and fluffy) and everything inside was well cooked and still distinct. The coffee was excellent (and a godsend as we still had 2 to 3 hours left to drive).

Note: Late night visit while move halfway across the country.
