$24 and some change, and they earned every penny of it.
Man… let me tell you. I gave Iron Skillet another shot after that Montana situation — and Nevada came through like a redemption arc. Food came out QUICK, HOT, and FRESH. Chicken was fried right, mashed potatoes hit with that smooth brown gravy, broccoli & cheese wasn’t watery or sad, and that roll? Soft like it knew it was on camera.
Courtney took care of me too — service was on point, no attitude, no confusion, just straight hospitality. After that overcooked plate I had in Montana, I had to double back and see what they were really about… and Nevada didn’t let me down at all.
When a place fixes their reputation with your tastebuds?

The food was decent, but very expensive. We felt sorry for our waitress as she was the only one working waiting tables, serving food and being the cashier. It took a long time to get our food so that makes me give 3 stars for this restaurant.

Not a good experience at al! My husband ordered a bacon cheeseburger with no onions and fries. I ordered the soup and salad. My food came out, I are all my food and still hadn’t gotten his. So he asked for it to go. We get to the car and it was an onion cheeseburger without bacon. He took the food back and, we were not gone two minutes, he was told the manager just went to the post office REALLY! He was so mad he just put the food on the counter and no refund given because no one was there that could do it. We are traveling and didn’t have time to wait for the manger to run errands during lunch time. It was 12 o’clock. ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS.

Sitting here with in 20 minutes 3-4 customers have been turned away and told they can’t order food to go since when does the iron skillet not allow drivers to order food to go? And now to finish the review being the initial review was before I even got my food the bake fish is over cooked to the point that you have to scrape any remaining fish off of it in order to eat it could not even get a fork into it

If you want a big meal that’s not too expensive after a long drive, and you want to check out the local vibe, the iron skillet is the place! It’s tucked behind a casino in a small strip mall. I ordered the sirloin steak medium with mac and cheese, garlic toast, caesar salad. It hit the spot with an ice cold Pepsi. The portions were huge, especially the salad. The steak looked flat and charred on the outside, but was juicy and tasty. Definitely the best $20 steak dinner I’ve had in a while. The mac and cheese was cheesy and buttery, homemade taste. The waitress was super attentive and friendly. If I lived here I’d eat here all the time (although my doctor would kill me).

Ordered sirloin with mashed potatoes and rice. When the plate came out it looked like a burger pattie and small scoop of mashed potatoes. When I looked at the waitress I reminded her that I Ordered a sirloin steak. She said that was the sirloin. Iron skillet definitely going down hill.

So not impressed! For the price we paid, you’d think a full size salad would be bigger than a dinner salad. The Chicken Fajita Burrito was tasteful, but really our bill was over $40! Just not worth the price.
