Amazing Iron Skillet at the Petro Travel Centar in America. Very big restaurant and so clean. So many seats available and you can seat by yourself. Stuff is so nice and friendly, they are with smiles and they are ready to help you sith your order. I was ordering T-bone steak with mushed potatoes and mac and cheese. It’s coming with a bread , like tosted bread. Steak was well done and was very good quality. Server who worked over there was super nice and friendly. After that I ordered apple pie with ice cream and this dessert was absolutely amazing. Pie was hot and mixed with ice cream was absolutely amazing! Petro Travel Centar is so big and this restaurant is very good for truck drivers, because restaurants is big and food is always fresh, tasty and delicious. Always they served good food and fresh. Salad and soup is available every day. Petro Travel Centar have more then 200 spot for truck parking. Parking for cars is too available and is very big too. Like all my recommendations for this place and this restaurant. I just saw prices is to big I think. Like for one dinner is more then 40$. Like guys, supposed to be litle down. You have to understand truck drivers.
But anyway food is good and sometimes I like to stop at Iron Skillet and eat something fresh and hot. I think I will stop again here and eat something different then this time. Thank you guys and I hope we will see soon again!

We walked in set down our waitress was at the next table sweeping and I had to ask her for a menu she told me to hold on she was sweeping up some glass! In my previous experience being a cocktail waitress I don’t care what i was doing I ALWAYS ACKNOWLEDGE my customers letting them know I would be right with them… It took About 20 minutes to get a chef salad and a traditional breakfast..
there were only 3 people in the restaurant. The salad was Hugh it’s was pretty good ! My husband said the traditional breakfast was ok ! My tea glass had a chip in it! …I hate when your waiter or waitress doesn’t come back over until it’s time to check out and then they are all kinds of nice and asking if you need anything else ..it was alright.. no! 20 min

24 hours, they’re open! I’m stuck on their salad bar, the chicken fried steak and even more so, their chicken fried chicken! My full meal was under $15 and I was stuffed! The meat was seasoned, the mashed potatoes were made from real potatoes, the gravy was good and the salad was great! I can’t tell you about any other items because I can’t get past the chicken fried chicken lol. After hours, it’s either Iron Skillet (if you’re willing to make the drive) or Midtown Billiards when you want something good and homemade, late night.

This is a decent little restaurant, it’s one of the few that actually survived the pandemic. The food is usually pretty good. The service is decent, prices are fairly reasonable for a truck stop . Thing That sucks is the 11% food and beverage tax in Arkansas Which can really bite but that isn’t their fault.

As much as I love real restaurants and cafes in truck stops, I had concerns about this one. The air vents looked dingy and were blowing very strongly at where I chose to sit. Someone in the kitchen sneezed loudly. TBH I just got up and left.
