Good food at a reasonable price. A relaxed atmosphere with seating that will accommodate most body types. Seating well spaced to allow for patrons with any mobility issues. Tables and floor very clean. Staff was friendly and helpful. Food was incredible. Chicken fried steak with eggs and fluffy biscuits and homefries. Hot coffee with an extra carafe. My friend and I shared their fried chicken with green beans and tator tots. I have to say that the fried chicken with hot honey was the BEST fried chicken that I have had in years! Not over breaded, not over seasoned, but crispy skin and juicy meat that just hit the spot. Four pieces of chicken and two sides was plenty for my friend and I.

Ate here twice in the last couple weeks. Not mad about either meal. Staff was freindly, food was good. Don’t expect a big thick steak for $25, but it wasn’t bad. The fried shrimp were great. Good salad. The hot fried chicken with sauce on the side was good. The sauce wasn’t my jam. Glad the server suggested on the side. Don’t be afraid to sit down and have a hot meal here. Not many places left where you can.
Also, the pin is on the shop, not the main building. Someone should probably fix that. ♂️

Overall a good meal. But the biscuit had to be a few hours old. And the staff seemed a little more interested in the daily gossip than serving. Something about impounded strays and dental work.

It’s somewhat expensive – $31 for a thin T-bone steak. Regardless, I didn’t have to cook or clean up. I had a vegetarian omelet with a fruit cup – omelet was good and packed with veggies. My hubby had the steak with a baked potato and soup – he said it was good. The mac and cheese tasted like it was a box mix so I don’t recommend it. Overall it was pleasant- our waitress was sweet. Remember to tip and safe travels.

Texas steer burger with cold salad bar was $15 before covid. How do you justify a $10 increase? You have less food costs(no salad bar) and less work for employees(no salad bar to maintain). Your greed is what’s keeping us truckers from eating here.

The worst service and cold food. Waitress took order then disappeared, requested refill on drink and had to wait as if I just came in, ordered food and got it in reasonable time but steak was cold and sides were cold. Pitiful and disgusting.
