The food is fantastic and the prices are great! If you leave hungry, it’s your own fault.

First time visiting here today. Wasn’t sure what to expect, but it was great! It made me feel like I had having lunch/dinner at my Grandma’s house (in a good way!)
You won’t leave hungry! The homemade cake is fantastic! We got the Chocolate Devils Food with white frosting… Just fantastic..
We will definitely be going back!

Stopped with 12 friends and was able to get seated right away. Heather was our server and did a fantastic job. She told us able the specials and brought our drinks quickly.
Food was fast as well. Combination of hot roast beef sandwiches, personal pan pizza and french toast – breakfast is served all day!!!!!
Great visit, great food and again Heather was fantastic.

Awesome food. Kim is such a great cook/chef. I haven’t had one experience with only acceptable food, it’s always really, really good. My husband loves the chili cheese fries and cheeseburger. My favorite is the pizza and fries. I tried a different food Friday, the sloppy burger. It was soooo good. You really need to eat here. Yum

This is a small diner with good food and even a few grocery items when you are in need here in Mount Savage, Maryland. The store is clean and tidy and fits in locally. This town is where iron rail for railroads got started in the US in 1844. We got two different variety hamburgers they were very good. The good helping of fresh hot fires were great. Good people and food. PS, the Philly Cheesesteak has plenty of meat and cheese.

Great to see the excellent reviews of Iron Rail, nee Shine’s (my grandfather, Richard Uhl built this following WWII). I have memories of many childhood visits when my grandmother (Hazel Uhl) made memorable pies and hamburgers in the kitchen…5+ history as well
