Went Friday around 6:30 and it was a vibe. Busy in a good way, but no wait to be seated. Spacious inside and out, with plenty of tables and a full bar off to the side of the stage. The band sounded great, and people were singing along and bopping in their seats. Free live entertainment, y’all!
Service was solid from the hostess to what’s sure to be everyone’s favorite server, Jimmy. Engaging and attentive, he stayed on top of our orders and made the experience memorable.
The honey chicken was our favorite, and the cider was tasty.
After meeting one of the owners, and with Jimmy being so great, it’s easy to root for this place. We’ll definitely be back. Glad Royse City has a spot like this now.

Me and my family were in the mood to dine in somewhere and decided to eat here. To start off when you walk in the atmosphere feels amazing! I requested a booth because I have a baby and they accommodated me perfectly. When our server came (I believe her name was Emma), she was super sweet and guided us through the menu. We ended up getting 8pc of buffalo wings (comes with carrots and celery), iron plow burger, chicken sandwich (grilled or fried), 3 sliders (for my 5 yr old). Everything was cooked perfectly ! The fries and buns were amazing. You can hardly tell that they recently opened. I hope this place does grow and get more attention. Overall we spent $69 (before tip) This will be our go to place now.

I’m honestly blown away with Iron Plow, it’s been awhile since I’ve truly enjoyed eating at a sports bar! Usually sports bars have mediocre food and drinks but during my visit we tried tons of their food. The food was amazing. We even got to talk to the head chef and she explained all of the food! Great Job Iron Plow!

Let’s start with bad. Went on a Thursday about 5pm, it was not that packed but service was slow. The mixed drinks are crazy expensive (12 – 18) so I went with a beer. Food took a while to arrive. Two of us with tip was $89.27 (2sandwiches 2 beers and 2 sodas). When I looked at the bill soda does NOT come with free refills. Chicken sandwich is the bomb! Big too! Beer is nice and cold. Asked for some of the extra spicey mayo and they said extra .60 cents!? I was like wha for mayo? Oh okay. Nice atmosphere though. Nice vibe and place.
So due to slow service, food taking a while and extra charge for mayo and each soda at a price I deducted a star.

My family of 4 visited for dinner. This was our first time in. The place looks great inside. All new furniture and Tvs everywhere. Wide open place inside. We didn’t check out the patio. Our server was great, very attentive. My husband and I had the flatbread, which was so good. The kids had burgers, no complaints which is a win. The peach cobbler was also very good. We will definitely be back.

Such a great atmosphere! I had the flatbread and kale salad, and I ate every bit even though I was full. My husband got the half chicken, and it was super moist. The staff was a lot of fun too – they let me taste just about everything before I had to commit!

We were able to get our favorite waiter, Jimmy, and were pleasantly surprised with the food and atmosphere of the Iron Plow. Our service was top notch, whenever we needed anything Jimmy was there to take care of us. The food tasted great and was brought to our table hot and fresh. The atmosphere was perfect, as my wife and I enjoy talking to each other while we eat. We don’t have to yell. Yeah.
The Old Fashion was second only to the ones my wife makes for me at home.

Me and my friend visited The Iron Plow today and it was an amazing experience to say the least. The food was amazing and the drinks were made perfectly with the Jalapeno Margarita. Also this was the first spot that provided my favorite cider, the Crack Berry. Also Alex has been super amazing to us and the other guests around. I don’t know how he did it but he got me to try a drink with egg yolk. I would say, it was good. Overall my experience was great and the customer service from Alex was top tier.

The environment was amazing. Live music was above average we enjoyed it for sure. Our server Jimmy was amazing. The old fashion was ok but seemed to lack real balance. The hibiscus ranch water was basically a $12 topo Chico with a splash of something purple in it and didn’t taste very good. The buffalo wings lacked seasoning or enough sauce. They were crispy and cooked to perfection. The steak and frites claimed to be a NY strip but had more of the consistency of a rib eye and had a lot of fat content. The steak lacked any real seasoning and could have used a heavier sear to help with consistency. The fries were really good. The hot and honey chicken bites were flawless and tasted amazing. Not an unhappy customer at all Jimmy asked we share our thoughts to help with a new place finding its way.

We came here a week and a half ago and everything was great! We came back for Valentine’s Day and were pleasantly surprised to see the menu extended already. They added a ribeye with fries and my husband subbed the fries for the new garlic mashed potatoes. I tasted it and it was amazing. Also the best mashed potatoes I’ve had at a restaurant. Chimichuri sauce was very good with the steak. I had the cheeseburger sliders and they were very good. My husband said the old fashioned was so good with the chili maple simple syrup in it. Nice draft beer selection , but this was the second time we’ve been here and they were out of the Hefeweizen, get that back in here.
So glad to have this place here!
