I just got off of work late, hungry. When I arrived an hour before closing, the owners were very kind. I made my order and they brought it out piping hot and with a cheery attitude. The Steak Fingers and fries were really good. Along with the spicy Chica dip(apologies for the misname of the dip ) it was super delicious. They apologize for the minor soda issue, but I wasn’t upset. I really enjoyed their positive attitude and stories they give. Would definitely comeback to try the other dishes. Anyone traveling through Fairfield, please stop by and give their dishes a taste.

Went there after visiting the concert in the Fairfield park on Saturday 9/26/25. Gave the young man my credit card to start a tab. We had four beers and the other couple had drinks. Had ordered some fries. Well I went in and said I would pay cash. The young man brought me a bill for three beers which I paid but I said we had four. I said I would pay for the other couple but he said they had already paid. So I said I would pay for the other beer and fries cash. So now checking my credit card there is a charge for $6.50. I will call today to have them take care of it. Other than that it is a nice place and I suspect finding employees is a challenge in that small town but I hope they succeed. I will update if there is an issue. Update: The charge dropped off so everything is good.

We arrived and were told to sit anywhere we liked. We did, and that was the last time anyone acknowledged our existence. No menus provided, no water provided, no “I’ll be with you in just a minute.” After 10 minutes of sitting there—and watching the few others get served; some that arrived after us—my wife retrieved menus from behind the bar to look at. I then said if no one talks to us in 5 minutes, let’s leave. We left. We went to Wrangler Burgers down the street. We ordered and had our food in less time than the amount of time we were ignored at Iron Mountain Inn.

My husband and I went in at around 1:30pm on a Sunday. There was one family who had arrived not long before us, and a couple of guys at the bar. We were told to sit where we liked, and so we did. And that was the extent of our service. We were not given menus, or waters, or any acknowledgement of any kind. There was one lady helping everyone else, and we watched her bring drinks to the family, then take their orders, then bring food to the bar guys, and ask them if they were paying together. Meanwhile, we sat there with no menus. So I snuck behind the bar and grabbed some at about the 10 minute mark, but after 15 minutes of no acknowledgement of any kind, we left and went to Wranglers, where we were helped immediately and thoroughly enjoyed our lunch and service. I suggest you do the same!

Well the other night we went there with our friends and it started out good came out about our drink orders came really fast and we ordered food with probably 5 minutes of being there while our friends food came and they ate and they ate and then it was time for them to pay and our food has never come so I would say almost an hour in we’re leaving and then our food comes out they were shocked that we don’t want it like waiting an hour after our friends have eaten is okay, first time there last time there.

Went in on a Saturday evening. Not too busy. Four of us ordered food at the same time. Two of us got food then the other two’s food never came out, it’s been over 15 mins. One waiter, but shouldn’t have been too hard since there wasn’t that many people. Waiter never said anything to us. We were done eating and the other couple was ready to leave since they never got their food. Sad, because it’s one of only two places to eat in this area. They can’t afford to lose business.

First time trying Iron Mountain. We came at a bad time when the lead cook was out, and the menu was small. Overall, we weren’t displeased with food, but really got glorified appetizers for dinner. Slow for a summer Sunday night, but not sure how many travelers VS locals stop in. Decent atmosphere and table room with banquet seating available. Exterior looking like a continuous effort, but still nice. Will of course return!

Went for our grandson turning one. Family friendly and shuffle board and pool is free to play there. Loved it.

Always great food, large portions for a great price. Even the kids meals are large. I’ve eaten there multiple times. I have never been disappointed and neither has anyone I’ve been there with.
