This place would have been 4 stars for service as it was very busy when we showed and only the one server working. She did amazing, but fell short as there were just too many people to keep happy! Coffee was cold, and it was impossible to flag the gal down. I think we were the anomaly, so I still rate it 5 stars for others.

Food was good, and would easily be on my list to return.

This was a proper breakfast burrito! When one pays 15$ for a breakfast burrito this is what they expect. Very small town diner feel. Place is clean and clearly cared for by the owners, who bake fresh pies from scratch!! Staff is friendly and service is prompt. My only complaint is that I only get to stop by every three weeks, and the burrito shell was a bit crumbly. Thats no fault of the cafe and only caused a need for a fork by the end. Maybe a quick trip to a flat top for toasting would help this problem? Or maybe I should have ordered it smothered in gravy and then it wouldn’t have been an issue at all. Next time!!

Very nice atmosphere and friendly staff and chicken fried steak. I had heard they were going out of business but they are open.

Cozy small town eatery serving scratch made food and homemade pies. The wife wanted to have some pie and take a mini road trip, so half an hour later, we arrived in this quaint little town and eatery. The turkey and brie croissant sandwich was good, as was the Cobb salad on mixed field greens. The only detracting thing was the undercooked bread stick. The homemade pie was delicious!

We ordered pies for our wedding this August and it was perfect! My husband and I aren’t big cake people so we decided to do pie instead and the Three forks pie lady was the perfect place for us. They took and made our somewhat large order no problem and we had so many people raving about how great they were! I only got to try the key lime but it was amazing!

If you don’t come here it’d be a mistake . Pie pie pie , but not some fancy pie , just pie made by people that know what’s going on . Loved the bourbon pecan , could be the best I’ve ever had . Period. Sorry we were in a hurry we are road tripping Montana , much to see

Fantastic mom and pop or mom and daughter restaurant. Diner or cafe style. Best service, friendly staff, fantastic food. My wife and I each had the bison burger. Cooked perfectly. Tasty and tender. With fries and tots, there was more than enough food. This didn’t keep us from getting dessert. She had blackberry lemon cream pie and I had a scoop of chocolate and a scoop of Huckleberry ice cream. Both were great. We should have asked but wife was expecting a traditional crust, but her pie came with a Graham cracker crust. Guess we’ll have to go back for another piece of pie. These are all homemade so it was hard to choose. This is a must stop. Worth a drive if you’re not from around here.

Fantastic food and service. The coffee was hot and fresh. That Dagwood sandwich I had was excellent. While it like look like it’s hard to eat, just fold it over, wrap your hands around it and start chomping. Considering all the cheese and bacon, there was not a drop of fat on my plate.

It is always an enjoyable experience. They offer the most delicious pie! However, I did not have the opportunity to try their pie on this particular occasion. We had a delightful breakfast date here recently. There was no waiting time, and we were seated as soon as we arrived. The food was delicious, and we will definitely be returning in the future.

Stopped in on our way to Wyoming. I can’t get over how cute this little town is. Beautiful small town USA. The Iron Horse Cafe continued that sweet vibe. Clean and quaint with the friendliest staff. We had a Buffalo Caesar Wrap, Club Sandwich and a BLT, loved all of them. Fresh ingredients and the Fries were SO YUMMY! If you’re driving I90 between Butte and Billings, I recommend grabbing a bite at Iron Horse Cafe & Pie Shop and don’t make the mistake that we did, SAVE ROOM for dessert. Their Fresh Pies looked amazing!!
