The staff is friendly and attentive, ensuring a top-notch dining experience. Beyond the pizzas, their appetizers and craft beer selection are equally impressive, catering to a variety of tastes. Iron City Pizza Company clearly puts care into every detail, from the food to the service. It’s a must-visit spot for anyone in the area looking for exceptional pizza and a great time!
Great stop for a pie when traveling through Birmingham!!!
The owner is a Doll!! She remembers us from North Alabama every time!!!
I wish there was some awesome oil garlic dipping sauce to go with it so i could crush the crust! very good pizza. clean environment and historic.

The in-house pickled jalapenos were sweet, tangy, hot, delicious and were provided as a free sample
We ordered 2 medium pies. The Arrington Arugula, a white sauce pizza with fresh arugula was good but not exciting and the flavor was dominated by whole cloves of roasted garlic (that I liked). The crust was bland, needed salt, a bit too chewy, and could have offered a crunch to make the pie more memorable. The Cahaba Caprese was a surprise since it was not the vegetarian pie that I had expected with tomato, mozzarella, and basil but included a solid amount of prosciutto. The fault was clearly on my side since I saw Caprese, jumped to a conclusion and did not read the description. I showed my disappointment and the waiter, without hesitation, offered to make a different, vegetarian pie as a replacement. A very customer focused move that I appreciated. Since I was with a carnivore, we kept the caprese/ham pie.
I gladly paid $9 for 16 fl oz of Snake Handler and we left happy.
We get seated at a cute table in front of the window and had very high hopes.
Our waitress got our drink order and brought the wrong drink to my daughter. Which we corrected then after 15 minutes of waiting. I did not see our waitress anywhere and so I asked the host for her drink.
After a few minutes the waitress brought it out.
We ordered the cheesy garlic focaccia and stuffed mushrooms for appetizers and they were decent.
Our drinks were heavily sweetened.
The napkins smelled musty. The smell was so overpowering.
We ordered a cheese pizza for the kids and the slice i tried tasted burnt.
We ordered sloss sausage for us with half being without sausage since one of us is vegetarian.
It came with sausage.
Overall, I just felt the waitress was no where to be found. She made several mistakes and then the food was subpar.
It really looked so good on google but we were disappointed.
For $130 it just wasn’t worth it.
And I hate leaving a bad review.
The facility was clean and well kept. The wait staff and chef were very friendly and knowledgeable. The chef came out and spoke to us on two occasions.
I’ll definitely go back!
