I’m so glad Iron Chef is open again–it was our go to restaurant for years (especially on Valentine’s Day) when we wanted a dinner date, and we didn’t find a really good replacement while they were closed. Our first meal back after their reopening was so good–the sushi and sashimi was fresh and a really good portion size. The different rolls and hand rolls are delicious too. The fried banana for dessert was a great finish to the meal as well. The service is superb–we will be going there regularly for our sushi, Chinese, and Japanese food fix!

How can you be in business, take orders you can’t fulfill, claim pickup ready in 30 minutes..arrived waited another 1 hr 10 minutes, no food, front person taking orders not knowing how long it would take…then claim 3 hour wait. Never try this place again. Disaster on XMAS Eve. Just be honest.

DELICIOUS!!! Iron Chef is located in a small plaza with ample parking. It’s a cute little place that makes you feel cozy with its dimmer lighting and warm atmosphere. The waiter was quick to greet us and bring some ice water for both of us. The menu has a good selection of food to choose from. We ordered four rolls:
Fancy Spicy Tuna Roll: Chopped tuna mixed with caviar topped with crunchy mix
Valentine Roll: Salmon, crabmeat and avacado roll top with tuna
Philadelphia Roll: Cream Cheese and Salmon
Shrimp Tempura Roll: Crispy shrimp with avocado and cucumber
All the rolls were fresh and tasted great. I absolutely LOVED the Valentine Roll. The flavors packed into it were so good! They also give you a cute little orange cut up into little pieces for a nice refreshing finish.
I will definitely be back here.

We’ve been longtime customers of this delightful gem and are so happy that it is finally back in operation! We stopped in the day after they reopened for a dine-in lunch and since then 2X more for takeout! Best tofu dishes in the area, splendid egg rolls, tasty sushi, and more! All the flavors are fantastic – just as we remember them! Since we don’t order at peak times (knowing they are struggling to meet the demand from their large, loyal customer base) we’ve no complaints whatsoever. The owner and staff are friendly, caring people who want to please so please give them a chance to make you as happy as they’ve made us over the years!

We had a “Love” roll, which was fine, but not really our thing.
Also, 2 vegetarian entrees: Szechuan Eggplant, and Spinach (with long stalks and narrow leaves).
We look forward to future explorations of the menu, and are happy that this new version of a Longmeadow favorite has reached (?surpassed) its former level after the fire event some years ago.
