Our experience at Iron Cedar Brewing & Meadery was wonderful! As soon as we arrived, they welcomed us with free mead samples accompanied with a fascinating overview of the brewing process.
The mead itself was fantastic and the Sour variety was a definite standout! It’s clear they put a lot of care into their craft.
The food was just as great! My dad and ordered the Buffalo Wings which were tender and tasty (When in Buffalo)! My mom chose the Hot Honey Chicken Sandwich and thought it was deliciously flavored; a perfect balance of sweet and heat. Nice and crispy on the outside, tender and juicy on the inside!
As the saying goes, “A friend with mead is a friend indeed”!

Well I took pictures too late but I dove in on the Mead Flight… absolutely amazing tasting Oasis, Iron Blood (just won gold metal!) were delicious! Followed with Poutine shoe string fries , smash sliders w/ pickles on the side, fried cheddar potato pierogis, philly cheesesteak egg rolls and house made cannolis… I didn’t even order all that I wanted. I cannot wait to come back for more and look at the adorable kids meals little Vikings

Food was very good. Very friendly environment. Only thing was a little pricey. Mozzarella bacon melt, brisket sandwich, bam bam shrimp. Melt was excellent brisket had great flavor. Shrimp were the best I ever had very large and perfectly cooked just expensive. $16 for 4 shrimp. Definitely would go here again and try other menu items.

Absolutely loved our visit! The service was excellent—our waitress was super friendly and made us feel really welcome.
I had the Big Ditch Hayburner beer and it was fantastic—crisp, refreshing, and full of flavor.
The chef’s special (Yggdrasil Bounty with grilled chicken) was not only delicious but beautifully plated. It felt like something out of a fine dining experience.
When we ordered the Chef’s Special the Chef came out to say they were out of zucchini . He really wanted to make us happy so the owner drove to the store to get some. While we waited they brought out complementary side salads for the wait. Two things here, we chose to wait, second the side salad was bomb. Not some little bowl of lettuce with carrots and a cherry tomato. It has pine nuts and pepperoncini and an array of veggies, not at all what you expect. It wasn’t a long wait and well worth it. In the end the owner kindly offered us a complimentary cheesecake for dessert at the end. It was topped with fresh berries and almonds—light, creamy, and honestly one of the best cheesecakes I’ve ever had. The Chef came out to check multiple times on us. Between the Chef, the owner and our waitress all five stars. That said, the food was the star. Amazing and not what was expected. Everything was so fresh. We have lived and traveled the world and no joke the food was on par with some very fancy and very expensive restaurants we have eaten at.
Great food, great service, and a thoughtful touch from the owner. We’ll definitely be back!

Walked in and didn’t even glance at the menu—I was ready for an adventure. Luckily, Anita was my server and totally up for the challenge. We kicked things off with the cauliflower bites, followed by the prime on weck—both packed with flavor. Then came the blueberry margarita and the truffle burger, and let me tell you, they did not disappoint. Everything was spot-on. I’ll definitely be back for round two the next time I’m in town!

Im not typically a buffalo spice kinda guy, but I ordered the recommended Buffalo Chicken Sandwich. It was cooked to perfection and bursting with flavor. Soft chicken with a fried crisp bread dipped with just enough buffalo sauce to balance the sandwich. French onions better than we had in France. A cheese topping was just enough crunch and taste that made it super delicious. Brisket poutine was on like anything I’ve ever had before. Super tasty and cooked perfection. Wings in Dr pepper sauce for the kid was an absolute hit. He ate them all and his vegetables too. The burger with wagyu meat was completely unexpected and everything you anticipate in a burger. Fantastic! The prices were reasonable for the quality, and I appreciated the complimentary ice cream for the boys . The mead options are all natural and perfectly crafted! Anxiously waiting to purchase someone when they are available. Homemade lemonade !
Ambiance is in need for a Viking themed, but the generous hospitality more than covered it.
I highly recommend for anyone looking for a unique Viking influenced American food in Buffalo, NY. I’ll definitely be back and will tell my friends

We found this great restaurant and meadery right across from the Buffalo airport. Absolutely everything we had was amazing. It’s probably the best Mead we have ever had. Hubby had beef on weck and he said it was the best he’s had! And we licked the plate on the lemon meringue cheesecake and fried pierogies were delicious. We will definitely be back for dinner!

Very relaxed environment. The owner and bartender were extremely friendly. I got a bunless smash burger and it was delicious. The fries also come seasoned which is always a plus.
I went in thinking that I would never like mead based on previous experiences and I actually went home with a bottle of mead after sampling one.
This is a great new business and I hope that it gets the support that it deserves so that it can stick around for a long time!

Italian prime sandwiches was top notch goodness. Meads were very tasty had a flight of four. Customer service was spot on.

Absolutely phenomenal food and drinks. This was the best Nashville hot chicken tacos I’ve had. Crispy on the outside tender on the inside. Beer was delicious also! Highly recommend!
