Food was good and not Tex Mex which we were glad about. We drove right by it the first time and then realized we had to turn around. They are in an old gas station that is now closed. And a truck had been parked in front of their door, which blocked the sign. The women who worked there were very nice. This is a very small local restaurant with only five or so tables. We had adventured off of the highway and glad we did.

It is a little bit off the main highway but it is worth it! It is in an old filling station and the atmosphere is super homey. Irma was a warm welcoming smile that made you feel like she was welcoming you into her home kitchen. The chips and hot sauce were homemade and delicious. We had the Barbacoa plates with the homemade flour tortillas and it was amazing! I definitely recommend giving this place a try!

DELICIOUS FOOD! It’s a little hole-in-the-wall place, but was absolutely amazing. Homemade chips, salsa, tortillas, and tamales! We don’t make our way South very often but when we are back in the Decatur area we will definitely stop back in. Friendly staff and you could tell it was a hit with the locals.
