A little piece of classic France in the middle of Berlin. Irma La Douce delivers refined French cuisine with a subtle modern twist, in an intimate and elegant setting.

From the moment we walked in, the hospitality stood out. The host made us feel genuinely welcome, and Pavlo, the passionate sommelier, truly elevated the evening. His enthusiasm is contagious, and the wine pairing was spot on – thoughtful, precise and perfectly matched to each course.

The dishes were well executed and beautifully balanced. The cappelletti with lobster bisque and blue prawn was a highlight, rich yet refined. Their signature dish, the beef bourguignon, had great depth of flavor and a classic profile. For my personal taste, it could have been a touch more tender – a little more time and love on the stove would have taken it from very good to outstanding.

Dessert closed the evening in proper French style, and overall the experience felt harmonious and carefully curated.

A charming, serious kitchen with heart – and a sommelier who makes you want to come back.

Vegetable floret, tartare, entrecote with cauliflower and choron sauce, the Best carbonara I’ve ever had( we immediately reordered it lol), and rhum plum with honey. So worth it, we sat outside and saw some nice outfits because it was fashion week. Much deserved Michelin Star

My Husband and I celebrated our 2nd Wedding Anniversary here and it was truly an incredible experience. For someone that has worked in Michelin Star Kitchens this is a prime example how you receive and maintain that acclaim. The food was seasonal and complexed. Our service was taken care o the highest degree with Aloel & Ben leading. They were attentive and patient especially with English speaking guest. Their steps of service were also to be praised. Not to mention they were STUNNING! I cannot wait to return for another beautiful experience!

I think this restaurant may be a victim of its own reputation. Nothing about it struck me as Michelin quality, least of all the food. Don’t get me wrong, it was fine. Simple dishes with no frills and unfortunately no interest either. The free water was a appreciated, but where I’m from that is the rule, not the exception.

Good value for the price, but definitely not worthy of a Michelin star.

-The food took a long time to arrive.

-The service was average — similar to what you can experience in many regular restaurants.

-There were a couple of service mistakes that are not acceptable at a Michelin-starred level.

-When we paid in cash, we were not given any change. While we would have gladly left a tip, it should always be voluntary.

The food was good- but that’s it, we expected much more from a Michelin star restaurant.
The service was welcoming.

Been wanting to try their special Mittagsmenu and it was very good value. On a beautiful day they’ve got outside seating and it’s a quaint lunch spot.

The mittagsmenu is very simplistic featuring limited number of items. Standout item is the duck and that was really well done rich in a sauce but creamy. Proper duck Coq au vin. I would not recommend the fish and chips being it just wasn’t that special nor tasty.

All in all great lunch spot and great Mittagsmenu deal. Without ordering drinks and just 2 mains you can easily spend under 40 euros.

I really enjoyed my dinner at Irma La Douce. The ambiance is very elegant and tasteful. The staff was very friendly, and the food was delicious. I particularly liked the concept of composing your own menu. The portions were substantial, so I’d suggest that unless you are very, very hungry, you should just take a starter and a main dish. I was very full after four courses 🙂
