We were not prepared for the quality meal we were about to have. The first trip there my friend and I got a burger, onion rings, and a reuben which both sandwiches came with fries which all together only cost 30 bucks. The meal was fabulous with all the food having amazing flavor. The onion rings especially stole the show with them being some of the best I have had in a long time. After talking non stop of this place, friends wanted to go the next day for lunch which resulted in me getting the onion soup and the Rye Not burger. Now my first error was assuming the soup portion was going to be small, it in itself was enough to be a meal for most folks and the flavor goes unmatched! But then came the main course and though I was pretty well on my way to full, the deliciousness of that burger forced my hand and I tucked into it with no shame and even tried getting through those amazing fries. Well you an say I fought the fries and the fries won because I had to tap out but I am not crying one bit because I was happily stuffed!
Now let’s talk about service, folks don’t come here unless you plan to tip because I didn’t meet a singular worker there who wasn’t a hard worker and the polite fun manners of those folks. When servers worry that the food wasn’t good simply because you are slowly savoring that french onion soup, it shows service and quality is an up front concern!
Now let’s talk atmopshere, the place is a small location but in that small location its packed with all the beauty of a small town bar which cannot be easily replicated. The locals there were all great for setting the scene of a small town bar which all the usual conversations going on but they go beyond that too. Both days we ended up having wonderful conversations with folks there, including the education on why it sounded like we were tap dancers thanks to our hobnails and talking about the local area as a whole. I never once felt like I talked to a stranger the whole time there.

Buffalo chicken roll appetizers were delicious. Husband had the Reuben which he deemed “delicious”. I had the Philly Steak sandwich special which was meaty, cheesy and tasty.
The amount of fries on each plate was enough for 2 people. Oh so good. We drove about 45 minutes to get there, we most definitely will go back!
