I’m visiting from the DMV, I came in today after inquiring from an associate where I could find good chicken wings, in the area. I Checked the reviews online and they passed. Also called the restaurant to find out the wing flavors. I arrived and placed my order 12 “24 gold k” and 12 “honey old bay” wings with an order of sweet potatoes.

The wings were delicious!!!! I devoured them soon as I got back to my hotel room. The 24 gold k CHEFS KISS! Also big thanks to the Chef GABE I wanted an order of honey old bay wings which was a flavor option. But he made it happen for me with no issue. Thank you so much Gabe

OMG!! These are the best wings that I have had in Springfield! The crunch was amazing, the tenders tasted so fresh. The sauce was sooooo good. I got the Chico sauce and I am now a huge fan of it! Definitely recommend. (It’s a cute little bar, not big but cute)

Normally a place like this I would keep a secret so I can go by myself, but I can’t keep this one a secret because I know how frequently bars get shut down in the city. I’ve worked in nightlife as a bartender, entertainment, and a avid beer taster . I’ve been to bars in every state in this country (I drive trucks now) this bar is one of the best out. I haven’t seen any riff raff any of the times I’ve been there. It’s usually full of pretty women and my face that’s perfect for radio. The atmosphere is nice and inviting, and the staff is super cool. Last but definitely not least, the lamb chops are worth every penny.

Went in last weekend with a couple friends to check this bar & grill out, and it was a pretty solid experience overall. The place had a relaxed vibe, not too loud, and easy to actually talk without yelling. Food came out hot and portions were decent for the price. I ordered a burger with fries and it was cooked right, nothing fancy but done well. Drinks were made fine and didn’t feel watered down. Staff was friendly enough and checked in without hovering. Seating filled up later in the evening, so it seems popular with locals. I’d go back again when I’m in the area.

5-Star Review for Irish Ale House
Title: First-Time Charm with a Side of Sass – Absolutely Loved It!
Stepped into Irish Ale House for the very first time, feeling like a newbie in a cozy Irish haven. I plop down at the bar and tell the bartender, the stunning Toni, “Be gentle with me – it’s my first rodeo here. Menu, please?” She fires back with a grin and a laugh: “I’m not that kind of girl, and I’m not known for being gentle – LOL!” Instant icebreaker, and from there, it was smooth sailing (or should I say, smooth pouring?).
Tony’s service was top-notch – attentive without hovering, quick with recommendations, and just the right amount of wit to make the whole vibe feel like catching up with an old friend. When the kitchen dropped my classic American cheeseburger, I was floored. Juicy patty, melty cheese, all the fixings hitting that perfect balance – outstanding doesn’t even cover it. Paired with a crisp ale from the taps, it was pure pub perfection.
If you’re in Springfield and craving great food, better banter, and a spot that feels like home, hit up Irish Ale House. Tony and the crew nailed it – I’ll be back for round two (and probably begging for “gentle” treatment again). Cheers!

Spend some time in here new years it was a nice vibe. Small chill spot. Loved that they had an outdoors area. Side street parking and section and bar with televisions.

I come here weekly to enjoy the comedy open mic on Wednesdays and the music after (live DJ). Can’t beat a free show. Menu is diverse, food is delicious. I love the salmon egg rolls and blt sliders. Lots of options at the bar, but I always go for the Shirley Temple. Bartenders are great. Security is attentive. Plenty of space inside, and a great patio area with canopies and tables with umbrellas.

This is not a typical northeast city Irish Bar and yet it is. Not a place for black and tans and The Clancy Brothers. But it is a community oasis. A couple blocks from city FD and PD HQ’s, it lies off the beaten path of Main and Columbus and State and lower Worthington streets. This is a city dive bar in the most cherished and honorable sense of the term. It is a people’s place. It is a snapshot of the proletariat who live and work in the city. It is genuine and welcoming enough. A good drink and meal at a decent price for lunch. At night, it is a great stop for those who want to know the city beyond the neighborhood places, the tourist magnets, and the bourgeois.

My first time in. The bartender was very nice. Security was very nice. Drinks were ok. Outside was very nice. Bathroom was prison style. Lol. But it was clean! Not a lot of foliage out back, so less mosquitoes. I will come back again.
