We ate at Iris over the weekend and had an amazing experience! The food was fabulous and our server was amazing! He was very welcoming and helpful with the menu. He also did a great job of being aware of my nut allergy and made a point to make sure the kitchen staff members were aware. I was very impressed with his attentiveness! As a party of 8, our appetizers and meals came out in a timely manner and everything was cooked to perfection. I had the “In a Pickle” cocktail and loved it! For dinner, I ordered the filet and it was super flavorful and perfectly cooked.
The restaurant has such an amazing vibe! We were in a private room, and the chef even came by to welcome us and introduce himself. Loved our experience!
I highly recommend Iris, and look forward to dining here again soon!

This is my new favorite Memphis restaurant! The cocktail I had, On the Boulevardier, was complex and not too sweet. The soup of the day, pureed apple and carrot with gouda, was the best soup I’ve ever had. The scallops were perfectly cooked and paired with a subtle leek fondue. And the coffee creme brulee had just enough coffee flavor while still letting the custard shine through. Service was consistently prompt and polite despite a busy evening, the ambiance was great, and it was quiet enough to easily carry a conversation. I cannot recommend this restaurant highly enough!

Restaurant Iris was overpriced for the quality of food served. The dishes were bland and underwhelming, and the online menu did not match the in-house menu. Several items shown online were unavailable; our waitress stated they were lunch-only items, which was not indicated beforehand. The vanilla chicken entrée was particularly disappointing.
I made reservations for a birthday dinner, but the experience was overshadowed by the restaurant being packed with extremely loud Ole Miss fans due to a game. This should have been disclosed at the time the reservation was made.

The appetizers were fine, nothing extraordinary, however the main courses were excellent. The cocktails were also excellent, service was impecable. Highly recommend restaurant.

We visited for our wedding anniversary and were thoroughly impressed by both the ambiance and the food. The cocktails were expertly crafted, though I feel the presentation could be enhanced considering they are priced at $16-$18. The chocolate pie was outstanding; it had the perfect balance of sweetness and was the best I’ve ever had. My husband was delighted with his steak, praising its excellent cooking and seasoning. My fish dish was equally well-prepared and seasoned. We appreciated the thoughtful gesture of receiving a complimentary brownie dessert and flowers for our anniversary. My husband chose this place because my name is “Iris,” and I’m really glad he did. It was a truly memorable experience for us.

My wife and I love Iris. We go there as often as we can. I love sitting at the bar, it’s always a great atmosphere. The custom cocktails never miss and it’s a great place to get oysters as a starter. The food is the best in the city and everyone is so friendly.

Summary: I didn’t have high expectations, but Iris turned out to be a really satisfying dining experience.
Food: I’m not familiar with Creole food, but everything from the starters to the desserts was great. The portions were definitely generous.
Service: Since we were a group of more than 10 people, it took some time to be served. However, the staff was kind and attentive.
Atmosphere: I was pleasantly surprised by the cool interior when I opened the door. The vibe was nice and definitely Instagrammable.
Worth the money? N/A as I did not pay, but I would say so—much better than most upscale restaurants in Boston.
♀️Would I revisit this place? Yes, definitely.

Went in for some drinks and maybe a bite. Bar area was busy and the local regulara seemed to get the attention first as I was seated for a good few minutes before having to track down a bar tender who ended up not even being a bar tender, but I digress. The drinks are overpriced, but the food was great. They have a bar menu and the regular menu, which i thought was great. Tried the in house made upper scale sausage dog, and it was great. Just enough to fill me up.

My experience at Restaurant Iris was definitely one to remember! The food was amazing! So flavorful and well prepared! The service was impeccable with multiple people checking on us and food/drinks coming out in a timely manner! I was also in awe of the design of this restaurant! The colors, table settings, and furniture seemed to be well thought out and added to the fine dining experience! There is a skylight in the dining area that creates this beautiful natural lighting, not letting you miss a moment of the sunset! I will definitely be back again for the food and ambiance! My only critique would be for the braised collard greens. They came with pickled peaches, and I could taste the peaches. They made the greens sweet too and I don’t personally care for sweet greens. Even with that it was a great experience, and I recommend it!

My husband and I celebrated our anniversary here and it was absolutely perfect. Everything was delicious, wonderful service, and a nice atmosphere. The newly designed space features excellent noise dampening so you can actually hear conversation at your own dinner table – I wish more restaurants were like that! I had the flounder and it was out of this world. Perfect texture, melt in your mouth, absolutely stunning. Drinks were amazing too. For a special occasion I can’t recommend this place enough!
