A hometown (and beyond!) legend, serving original recipes made from scratch for over 40 years! Our menu includes the best PIZZA, of course, but we offer many other delicious options including sandwiches (Italian beef, ham, cudighi), salads, Mexican food (tacos, burritos), breadsticks, and pizza logs (our version of the calzone). Located in Baraga in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. You can dine-in (counter service) or pick up take-out to-go. Gift certificates are available and if you want to buy any but aren’t in the area, call and ask for Craig–he will make that happen. Take and bake pizzas are available if you call ahead. Also, consider ordering for your party or event–just call ahead so we can prepare for large orders.

Nostalgic place for me, we’d go here every so often growing up and it looks exactly the same. Good pizza and breadsticks. Not a ton of seating but our big party could be accommodated.

Cash only and currently carry out only. That was no problem for me, and the service and staff were all fantastic. But I’ve given 3 stars simply on the quality of the food. Nothing was “bad”, but a just kind of ok flavors. My mushrooms, for example, were canned and lacked flavor. The crust was dense and a but bland.

Ordered a large taco and pepperoni pizza for carry out. Pizzas were coming out of the oven as I walked in. Great customer service, some seating available inside, and a couple picnic tables to eat outside as well. Pizza was delicious — especially the taco. Crust was soft and chewy and there were just enough toppings.

This place is NOT Cheep. I just want to say that first. We spent almost $50 on 2 Pizzas. They possibly charged us wrong, but we were back at the campground before we figured it out and we were hungry! It is tradition for us whenever we stay at Baraga State park to have Irene’s Pizza one of the nights we are there. Well it rained, so it was the perfect reason! I love supporting local places! The staff here was very friendly, as they always are! The pizza was good and hot and LOADED with toppings!

We were passing through on a Friday night and delighted to discover that Irene’s was still open. We enjoyed the thin crust pizza loaded with cheese, pepperoni and sausage. The staff was friendly and attentive. We enjoyed our pizza and the local atmosphere.
