Ireland’s Four Courts pub is local neighborhood family Restaurant and Pub that has been serving Arlington since 1996. We are located at Courthouse metro. Its a great place to watch all Soccer games from around the world. We serve traditional Irish fare with American cuisine and offering proper Irish Pints in a cozy pub atmosphere. Great private Room space available also with no room fee .
Classic Irish pub with fireplaces, rugby & soccer on TV, live music, quiz nights & sidewalk seating.

Best pint of Guinness around. Good daily specials. Friendly staff. What more can you ask for in an Irish pub?

Love this place! Great friendly staff! The remodel really turned out well and the vibe here is jovial at worst and Cheers-esque at its best.

One of our favorite local places to grab a meal or watch a match over drinks! Everything is delicious but my favorite is the Shepherd’s Pie: perfect flavor and lots of ground beef, lamb, and veggies. My kids love the wings, too. Highly recommend this place!

Seemed at first like the car crash woke this place up, but their staff have frequently been rude to me and my friends/family since and the most recent incident has solidified that this place just isn’t worth the money. Food is okay, obviously a complete 180 from where they used to be, but when I’m spending around $100 for a meal for two if you drink (one blue moon draft in a regular pint glass cost $11 for example), probably closer to $60 if you don’t drink, I dont want my experience there to be a crap shoot. The reason I won’t be giving this place my business anymore (which I’m sure they could care less about because they clearly take Clarendon’s foot traffic for granted) is because of how this place has treated me and my friends. Once, a friend of mine was confronted by a waitress for how much they tipped (something around 10% I recall) as we were exiting. I would note that this waitress probably visited our table a total of like 5 or 6 times (a very conservative estimate) across a nearly 2 hr period. A separate time the hostess refused to sit us at their open high top tables without any reasonable explanation, and instead argued with us when we asked why. We were told that because we were a party of two, we could not sit at any of their open high top tables (seats 4), unless we were willing to sit at the same table as other groups of two because these seats were considered “community tables” (have no idea why these other groups of two were allowed to sit at these tables alone but not us). There were at least 3 empty high tops on a Thursday afternoon, as well as numerous other empty tables all throughout the portion of the restaurant that we were requesting seating in. It made no sense, and the manager even admitted as much once he was finally called over for assistance. The owner then began eyeballing us after we sat down, and eventually approached us asking about the incident. We explained what happened, and instead of apologizing, he patronized us and justified the nonsense situation because she was apparently only 16 years old. Ageism isn’t appropriate no matter what way it’s served up.

After the Soccer game that Washington DC United had with the New Yorker team, me and my fiancé were late to have some decent food and drinks. It was about 10 minutes before the service closing and we had the best treatment, felt welcomed, not like “oh where did you guys come up from now” … No no… They really made us all the dishes that we requested with the care as if it is not last minute. Plus we are living right across the street from this beautiful place so we are now officially regulars!!! People are so well dressed up, properly conducting themselves, very kind and everybody’s respectful; it is the reflection of the service that is provided here! Plus… The place is filled with regulars. They are all like family. I lived in the UK for 10 years and this place took me where ai exactly wanted to be. Great place to spend time even if it is late, you will feel safe and still taste good food!
We ordered classical pub food that we would get in the UK & Ireland.

We had dinner here with an appetizer and 2 drinks to add. The food was fair and to be expected. Our server was mostly attentive….kind of had to get his attention at the end. Overall, a typical experience.

Solid food, good vibes, has the Irish beers and ciders you’re looking for, and great service even when they’re slammed – which they have been every time I’ve visited. The food comes out fast even when they’re busy.
Pics are of the chicken boxty and the Reuben. Both delish! I’ve had the fish n chips before too, usually pretty good, sometimes a bit oily.

Hell of an Irish pub, the real deal. Had an amazing Irish Stew while enjoying a Top Level Football Game (Soccer for you locals) plus some cool pints. Great atmosphere and service. Loved it. I want to come back soon for the Reuben and the Corned Beef Platter, no doubt about it.

Ireland’s Four Courts is a great spot for great food, drinks, and a true Irish pub experience. The menu offers a solid variety of classic dishes, and everything I tried was flavorful and well-prepared—definitely recommend the fish and chips, the shepherd’s pie, hummus with peta bread. The drink selection is also good, with a great range of beers on tap and cocktails to suit any taste.
The service was friendly and attentive, even during busy times, which added to the welcoming vibe. The atmosphere is lively and authentic, with a cozy interior that makes you feel like you’re in the heart of Ireland. Whether you’re there to catch up with friends, watch a game, or just enjoy a good meal, this place hits the mark.
It was a bit loud and crowded. Overall, a good experience that’s worth checking out if you’re in the area!

Great lamb burger and great drinks. I highly recommend having Mary, the bartender pour you a Guinness. She’s definitely famous in the area for it. A little on the pricier side but it is Arlington DC area. The meal and a beer is going to cost you about 30 bucks without a tip, but for the food quality it’s unbeatable. I’ve never had a bad experience here and come frequently
