So happy to see they opened an Ippudo in culver! My first time trying it was in London, then NY and now finally in the west coast. Service was great, food was phenomenal per usual and ambiance is clean and modern. Cheers!

Ordered the takoyaki and Akamaru modern ramen. Both flavorful and delicious. It’s not the best, but very decent, local spot. Staff is very friendly and restaurant is clean and spacious.

Attractively simple yet stylish and elegant decor, which also describes my Karaka Spicy ramen – the broth is deep and complex once mixed, courteous and efficient staff typical of a successful Japanese chain.

As a born and raised in New Yorker, I remember when Ippudo out first opened in New York on the corner of fourth Avenue and E. 10th St. It started the culture around Ramen Street n the city. Of course, the food was amazing and everybody was talking about it. Now Ippudo can be found in most major cities so it was refreshing to see that there was one in Culver City close to where I live now in LA. And the Ramen did not disappoint! The pork buns were also heaven. Cheers to the Ippudo team for consistency and the delicious Ramen.

I absolutely loved this restaurant. The broth was very light, and I was able to finish the whole thing. I will definitely come back here. The Mizo veggie brought was also really nice. The corns were great to.

Spontaneously stopped by IPPUDO. I’ve tried it for the first time in NY and it left a great impression. This time I’ve ordered just a classic Ramen which is their basic and cheapest Ramen option. If you want an egg in your Ramen you need to order additionally. There were also to condiments on the table. Wait time was short and the Ramen were really good. Rich broth, yummy noodles, just delicious. Wish the portion would have been a bit bigger but maybe it was just my appetite. Our waiter was also really friendly and attentive. Will come back 🙂

Pros: The atmosphere is nice and the ramen came quickly. There is a good selection of vegetarian options. They have sesame on the tables as seasoning.
Medium: Every little extra costs, but it’s clear on the menu, which I appreciated. Tastes good.
Dislikes: the soup was warm but ALL the toppings were cold, like they have a pot of warm broth and then add cold tofu or meat (the person I was dining with got pork which was cold), cold veg, etc.
I asked for an egg in mine and my dining companion did not. they put the egg in his soup and when I pointed out they left the egg out of mine, the waitress wanted me to take the egg out of my friend’s meat soup and eat it!!! Ewwwww!!! What the hell. Just fix your mistake. The ordering was very clear. Also I ordered the seasoned egg addition, but it was just a plain hardboiled egg that came. 4 stars for service- 1 star for the initial waitress but 5 stars for the woman who brought water and asked if everything was okay. Another con: the menu is online only, with a qr code to access it no physical menus. What if you didn’t bring your phone, don’t have bars, or don’t have battery left? I asked for a physical menu but was just pointed to the qr code X2. Finally, it was VERY loud. The acoustics are such that my friend and I could not hear each other across the table over the noise of the tables around us.
For such an expensive place, I won’t be back.

I noticed a new ramen place in Culver City and saw some good reviews. I got the classic tonkatsu which was very good. Nice depth of flavor in the broth. I added pork belly and a salted egg. The only reason I knocked it a star was because after adding the extra pork belly and egg the price of the bowl ended up being around $40 (no drink or apps) which is very high. Also without the addition of the proteins the amount that does come with it seems rather light. I think most people would be wondering where’s the rest. But restaurant was clean, service good, and food was tasty. If you don’t mind the price for a bowl of ramen then I think you’ll like the place.

I had such an amazing time dining here! The Ramen was so delicious, the broth was incredibly rich, and the noodles were cooked to perfection. I have to highlight how amazing the staff was during my visit. Gavin and Yoshi were incredibly diligent in serving us, they both clearly work extremely hard to make sure we have a good experience. Please show them some love!

I don’t usually leave reviews, but I was compelled to today. Stopped in craving some ramen on a cold day and I was lucky enough to have William as a server. What a great experience! Friendly, funny, and knowledgeable. He welcomed me in like we were old friends. The food was spectacular and the service some of the best I’ve ever had. I cannot wait to come back.
