Food was delicious! Pork has an extra layer of smokiness. I asked for stronger broth and they delivered.
Portions are very nice, 3 slices of pork belly. I had to ask my husband for help. I was full halfway though the meal.

I ordered a Yummy roll, Super Dragon roll and a Snow White roll to go and they were delicious.
As I entered the restaurant I was pleasantly surprised that it looked nothing like its previous life. I also loved that I was greeted right away with a smiling face.
It’s great that the to-go bag is REUSABLE and my rolls were packed beautifully. I’ve been to sushi places where you get all of your rolls crammed into a styrofoam container, these were packed individually and what you ordered was written on the top of the containers. No more trying to figure out who ordered what.
I can’t wait to return to try other items. This is a wonderful option for dining in Mason City. Well done.

Wow, wow, wow! Amazing sushi and the service is incredible. They are very friendly and quick. The shaggy roll and Philadelphia roll were flavorful and I’ll be back to try some of the others!

I am not a sushi fan. I had never had real ramen type soup..but man oh man this place!!! I didn’t have sushi , my son did and he really liked it. I had shrimp ramen and it was delicious!! I went in thinking I wouldn’t find much..I was WRONG….it was eye roling goodness….

We had Drake as a server, very friendly! Inside was cute and perfectly themed. Our appetizer came out quick. When we ordered our sushi, we did not have to wait long. The presentation, 10/10. Taste, 100/10. The Mountain roll and the Sunshine roll I would highly recommend.

Our party had a variety of meals. All were attractive and were well prepared. We have eaten here twice. I’m sure we will be back. It is not the kind of food we usually eat. It was very nice to try something new. You won’t go away hungry. The servings are generous.

Bringing the whole family to try this Habachi steak and chicken was a total hit! The steak cooked in the kitchen had perfect heat control—crispy and charred on the outside, while the inside was so tender that it oozed juice with every bite. Both the elderly and kids praised it for being easy to chew. The chicken was coated with a light garlic aroma, tender without being dry and full of flavor. The accompanying vegetables kept their crunch, and even my picky little one voluntarily had two bowls of rice. No need to wait for on-site teppanyaki shows; the food came out fast and the dining environment was quiet. Having a nice, peaceful meal with the whole family filled us with pure happiness

While very easy to get down seated, the resturant transported my family to Japan. It is goregous inside, with every detail iconic and colorful. I enjoyed seeing a episode of One Piece play on the Tv! We had 4 Ramens, Gyoza appetizer with a side of rice, 4 Boba Thai Teas, and a Salmon Sashimi. While ordering the Salmon we where wary, being this far inland we have had some frozen or fishy experiences. It was worthy of 5*; Cut, Color, Smell, Texture! Amazing!!! It was perfect and my Seafood loving Fiancé hasn’t had that since we lived in California. Will love to see you guys florish! Will be back again for Date Night or any other reason.

They had offered us take out since we came late and appreciated it so much since we know they were closing up. Genuinely got to know some amazing workers! They treated us with fast service and delicious food! We will come again and bring others 🙂 I 100% recommend !!

I have been to Ippin 4 times now since they have opened. All their food is amazing! I have tried most of their appetizers and quite a few types of Ramen. My favorite Ramen so far has been the Ippin Ramen. Noodles are a bit different from their regular Ramen noodles. My favorite rice bowl is the beef donburi. My favorite appetizers have been their Gyoza, chicken kare-age, and their steam buns. Service has been amazing. They don’t have sushi yet but I’m sure it will be amazing when they do.
