Reviews
After reading the reviews, I had high expectations and thought it might rival Texas de Brazil. Once we arrived, it was clear this place went above and beyond. There is noticeably more passion, care, and exquisite attention to detail—not only in the food, but also in the atmosphere. The staff was nothing short of caring, considerate, and amazing. I asked if they had mint jelly (since I didn’t see it at the salad bar), and the reaction alone made it clear this wasn’t a common request. Yet shortly after, they brought out fresh, delicious mint jelly. That small gesture truly stood out. Kaycie was absolutely brilliant.
While the salad bar is smaller than Texas de Brazil’s—about a quarter of the size—it falls nothing short of delicious and still offers a great variety. As much as I love meat, I always appreciate a balance of greens and sauces, and everything was laid out thoughtfully and with care. I highly recommend the cheddar bread with Parmesan cheese, and the rice and beans were incredible—my partner went back for seconds.
Now for the most important part: the meat. One thing that truly sets this steakhouse apart is the seasoning. Many Brazilian steakhouses use similar flavors across all their meats, which can become overwhelming after a while. Here, each cut was seasoned differently and perfectly, making every bite distinct and exciting. The lamb was, by far, my favorite.
Kudos to the owner for creating such a warm, inviting environment. This is a place filled with heart, quality, and intention. May this restaurant continue to flourish for generations to come. Cheers.
The best place to eat in Scranton by far, don’t walk, run to this place!
The food was incredibly fresh and flavorful. Every cut of meat was perfectly cooked, and the sides and salad bar were just as impressive. You can really tell they care about quality. The gauchos were so friendly and attentive, constantly checking in and making sure we had exactly what we wanted. The entire staff was welcoming and genuinely kind, which made the experience feel even more special.
What really stood out to me was who I believe was the manager. He was extremely hands-on, helping the team, walking around, and personally checking on every table. That level of involvement says a lot about how the restaurant is run.
We’ll definitely be coming back. If you’re looking for a rodizio with amazing food and even better service, this is the place.
My boyfriend and I made a 7:00 PM reservation, confirmed by phone due to a cancellation. We drove over an hour expecting to enjoy a nice dinner at a restaurant we had never tried before, checked in at 6:55 PM, and were told to wait in our vehicle because there was no seating available, despite having a reservation. We were assured we’d receive a call when our table was ready, and yes, they confirmed they had the correct phone number.
We waited until 7:30 PM. No call. No table. No explanation.
What’s the point of taking reservations if you don’t honor them? Telling paying customers to sit in their cars in a cramped parking lot with zero communication is beyond unprofessional.
If you want a Brazilian steakhouse that respects your time, go to Fogo de Chão. On-time reservations, professional staff, and consistently excellent food. That’s what a proper dining experience looks like.
If you enjoy wasting your evening, being ignored after checking in, and wondering why you even bothered making a reservation, Ipanema Grille is the place for you.
Food was great, service was great, and the inside is amazing!
Great time all around.
Came in for my brothers birthday and can’t wait to go back!
