My family of 6 ate brunch here while waiting for my son who was attending a robotics competition at nearby George Middle School. I think this is the only restaurant serving breakfast in Iowa Park aside from Mcdonalds and a donut shop.
Everything on the menu was available to order (breakfast , lunch & dinner). The chicken fried steak with mashed potatoes and green beans was okay but the included corn bread was too small. Hungry man was a filling breakfast but the ham was too salty for my kids. The grilled pork chop was fine and the fried okra was good. The burger was okay but my daughter said she prefers Mcdonalds when doing a comparison. The place was full (9:30 AM on a Saturday) with maybe a max capacity of 60 to 70 people.
I would recommend this place if you are in Iowa park to meet local folks and have a Texan small town dining experience.

These mom and pop operations are so much better than the franchises. This one gets everything right, every time.

Amazing little place! Food was great and portions are huge! The pies are awesome too. I will definitely come back when I’m in the area.

Was passing through town and made a judgment call to stop based on the number of vehicles in the parking lot. Not disappointed. This is one of those places where you better; be wearing a ball cap, order sweet tea, say “yes mam” to the waitress, and order dessert before leaving. My wife and I both had the meatloaf special – she had the goulash, and I had the potato salad – the goulash is heavenly. Tater salad – meh!

The meatloaf special with goulash and coleslaw with a cornbread muffin was excellent!! It was the lunch rush yet the waitstaff and kitchen kept up with the demand.

My family has loved this place for a long time, it’s convenient and the food is good. Only complaint I have that I smell like the cafe for the rest of the day, lol no biggie really

This place is wonderful! Friendliest staff you can imagine. They turned our tough day into something really positive, since we stopped in while waiting on some work to be done on our vehicle. What a blessing!! Great burgers! Thank you for treating us so kindly.

I love IP Hwy Grill. The waitresses are quick, effective and efficient. I love the food and the daily specials. Where they really excel is the pie. Peanut butter pie with mounds of whipped cream, fluffy thick meringue on lemon, coconut or chocolate pies. Cheesecake and sheet cakes. Puddings and crumbles. It’s all the great things about a local diner, wrapped up with a family who supports their community.

A good stop! We found this place on our way to west Texas on a Friday, which was the day for fish and shrimp specials. Hubby and I both got fried catfish and shrimp. The fish was great, but the shrimp…wow! We’ll definitely come again next time. Prices were good and drinks were included!
