Stopped for breakfast with my daughter and we both enjoyed our meals. She got the French toast and it was a huge plate full. I got the sausage gravy and it was so delicious. Portions are large and worth the price.

This has got to be one of the best deals in Berkeley County. For the choose 3 Saturday special I had fried shrimp, clam strips and a very generous 6 oz (probably more) steak, plus fries and slaw for 19.95. Can’t remember when I’ve had a more enjoyable meal and the price is way more than reasonable. Food came out fairly quick and was warm and very tasty. The waitress did an exceptional job as did all the kitchen staff. I will make Inwood diner a regular stop.

When a new restaurant opens up I want to try it! However, I’m not a big fan of Kitzie’s establishments with their service or their food. However, I wanted to give the Inwood Diner a shot. I ordered the steak and cheese quesadillas as the waitress said that’s a popular dish. The meat tasted liked a steakum and my meal was cold. I told the waitress I wanted a sweet tea and she gave me an unsweetened. That’s no problem at all and when I asked her if this was the sweet tea she rudely commented just put sweetener. I don’t put sweeteners in my drinks and I never touched and she saw that. I finally got an actual sweet tea, but the service by my waitress was very unprofessional. My family members order the pork chop and they were satisfied, but it was nothing to brag out. I’m glad I tried this establishment, but I will not be coming back.

Cute little diner. Food was decent, I would definitely go back. I think next time I would get breakfast. My husband did and his was good! I had fried fish and shrimp platter and it was okay. Would like to go again and try some more things!

Good food and remarkably prompt. Honestly I was trying to kill time and instead ordered, was served, ate, and paid in record time and at a great value. I did feel welcome to stay and keep drinking coffee but decided a brief nap in my car might be nicer… further compliments to the food 🙂

Hard-to-find home cooking. Daily specials have a family of three eating for under $40. Meatloaf, fried chicken taste like grandma’s; sides are yummy (try the baked corn or corn fritters). Nicest staff; patrons are even nice to each other. It’s a good, old-time small-town diner.

This place has gone from one of our favorites years ago to one of the worst restaurants we’ve ever been to. About a year ago, we went for dinner and it was a disaster — slow service, terrible food, and my chicken was RAW in the middle. Nobody in our family could finish their meal because it was that bad.
Against better judgment, we gave them another chance for breakfast since we now live nearby. Huge mistake. My son took a big gulp of chocolate milk that was completely spoiled and had a chemical taste. When my husband tried to get the waitress’s attention, she looked him dead in the eye and then turned and walked away. Absolutely unacceptable.
I didn’t leave a review after the first awful experience, but after this, people need to know. This restaurant is unsafe, unprofessional, and flat-out horrible. Save your money and go literally anywhere else
