유산슬밥: salty is the taste. Can’t taste the oyster sauce flavor which makes it very savory.
무적의짬뽕: noodle overcooked such that it has no texture. Soup tastes very plain. Not worthy of signature menu nor $15. $15 is relatively not expensive for 짬뽕, but it’s not worthy.
Service is nonexistent. I would have cared less about service if food tasted good.
The restaurant needs someone who knows the basics of cooking.

The price recently increased. So, go to Hongbanjang for lunch or God of Jjambbong for now. Portion is huge though, which is good for big eaters.
I prefer this place to Green Cabbage using HongBanJang, as I like the proper mix taste of Asian cabbages chai/choy. Also, had a lot more veggies included.
Beyond that it’s pretty much a draw in terms of soup & service, except HangBanJang had hidden roach in between napkins. Likely this place have one too but being newer less likely.
Other place around is TeMinQuan, which is a lot more expensive finer dining.
Although, I miss SooTaMein place, which is gone after pandemic, this place will have to do.
Oh, the ultimate at $15 is nice but too much food & a bit painful to eat as per crabs, but does add additional sea food flavor.
Easier Parking too.
Taking a star off temp as noodle was overcooked. I really like this place & will keep a keen eye. Oh hot pepper Jjamppong is really worth extra $1, but others … eh~ Extra meat & ultimate for me is extra bother & cost but not much else.
Get the jjambbong. It’s what they’re known for. We ordered the large size and was able to share amongst 3 people. Portions are good and service is good.
Location is a bit odd but felt like a hidden gem spot.
For those who don’t know what it means for jjampong to be 시~워한. Imagine it’s the hottest day of the summer, you’re sweating, you have a steaming bowl of jjampong and you drink the first spoonful of soup. You let out a sigh of relief and weird sound that you’ve only heard old Korean dudes make.
This is it.
Also, the taste changed from good to “okay”.
They only got right the 밥
Ordered a few things via Uber Eats.
Jjamppong – The soup was amazing and very tasty. It had just the right amount of spiciness where it is not so spicy that it makes you want to stop eating but not so bland that you feel like it’s watered down. My wife and I have vastly different spice level tolerance, but both of us actually agreed that it was perfect. That rarely happens because I eat buldak and love it while she eat shin ramen and thinks it’s spicy. The soup was super flavorful and just hit the spot. It also had lots of seafood and portion was amazing. The noodle really worked well with the soup where despite coming separately and combining them just before eating, the noodle managed to soak up enough flavor to not taste bland.
Tangsuyuk – This was very well done as well. The meat was fried very well. Although the nature of getting fried stuff delivered meant they are never really crispy, there was some crispiness left. The sauce was thick enough but not overly thick or too sweet or too tart. And there was nice refreshing touch of cucumber that was actually coming through that really helped it not taste too oily and actually made it taste refreshing.
Ganjjajang – Wife said this was amazing as well and definitely worth it over the regular one (although she hasn’t had regular one from here).
Definitely try this place out. Highly recommended.
