Every detail was well thought out and every dish was so fresh tasty and some unusual combinations that really worked well! The view is absolutely stunning and you could sit watching by the window for hours, the home made sloe gin was such a nice touch. Don’t even get me started on how amazing the breakfast was, each detail so thoughtful and can enjoy by the comfort of your own room, I hope in the not so distant future to make a return visit, as it’s one of the most special places in Scotland. Oysters, langoustines, lamb were so tasty and some of the best I’ve ever had. Thanks so much for the hospitality. A memory me and my partner will cherish for ever.

Sensational place to experience. Foodies are the target clientele so avoid if you don’t like tasting menus. The dishes were creative and different and never included an ingredient for the sake of wackiness but well thought out. It is a clever place that does quirky without being pretentious, that line never crossed IMHO.
Well worth a proper star if they can be bothered, I’ve had worse meals in 2 star establishments.
A destination well worth the trek.

We had a fabulous lunch at this amazing restaurant. Very relaxed, great service, location and views beautiful looking over Loch Fyne. The food was top quality, we’ve eaten at some great places and this was up there with some of the best.
To start – We had Oysters which were served with fresh horseradish and lemon. Plus scallops with rhubarb and sea kale. Both very good.
As the main event – we had the best (and biggest) crab I’ve ever tasted. Along with a side of creamy very special buttery pomme purée.
To finish – Rum Baba and a frozen rice pudding dish with goats cheese which was very unique and lovely. Then coffee and whiskey!
Wine – a very dry, savoury crisp fresh white Loire valley wine, La Dilletante. It went extremely well with the crab.
The staff were impeccable, the surroundings very serene.
We both loved everything about this place and if we come again we’ll do the evening tasting menu with wine pairing, plus stay in one of the shepherds hut style rooms.

A fantastic experience from arrival to departure! This was such a decade treat and one which I hope we can repeat.
Loved the accommodation – we stayed in one of the luxury bothies- v comfy and cosy and the view over the loch was stunning.
The dining experience is exceptional. We had cocktails in the bar with a “snack” platter (oysters, razor clams and more!) then enjoyed the rest of the tasting menu in the restaurant. Every bite was exquisite and I keep remembering flavours still. We had the wine pairing option which was fantastic. Everyone is very knowledgeable.

Surely one of the best fine dining experiences in Scotland.

I’m nervous just writing this review, as any words I put down won’t do justice. Simply put – this was the best dining experience I’ve ever had. From the beginning of our stay, the staff at Inver was incredibly warm, knowledgeable and inviting. At the beginning of our dinner, we were encouraged to start in the bar area, where we had a two sip martini which was a delightful (small) variation on a classic martini, infused with local herbs. Followed by a phenomenal Old Fashioned, with subtle additions of sherry and scotch, that really made the cocktail feel special and “of the locale”. And then… the food. The food! From beginning to end: thoughtful, unique, and delicious. Rather than describe each course, I’ve attached a menu. It was exquisite. And beyond that… highly, highly recommend doing the wine pairing. The wine choices were amazing and really brought out the best in each dish, and vice versa. After our meal, we were invited back to the bar area for tea and a lovely conversation with the staff. We then departed to our rooms down the path, with a view of the lake and a delicious breakfast in bed the following morning. Inver – thank you for an incredible experience and stay. We hope to come back soon!!!

Inver is simply an incredible destination. Their entire ethos is clear and present in every aspect of the food, the service and location. It’s relaxed but with a level of professionalism that is hard to find anywhere let alone rural Scotland.

The staff are welcoming and extremely knowledgeable on their food and produce, which is great because it’s amazing to hear about which farm the pig came from or which garden the herbs were grown.

It’s stunning what they can do with what can read as humble local ingredients, but the outcome is beyond.

This restaurant is absolutely worth any drive, and if you can staying in their Bothy accommodation really is worth it.

Probably one of the best meal I had in a while! It is a beautiful part of Scotland to begin with, the surrounding is just spectacular. A dog friendly and child friendly restaurant, with such experienced staff. The waiters were ultra polite, gently spoken and helped us throughout our dining experience. I was very surprised to see the kids menu as I was not expecting one, so that next time i will be able to take my kids too! I would highly recommend booking quite ahead as it gets really busy. They ask for your dietary requirements ahead and they prepare for everything. I had a surprisingly delicious dessert, a sorrow sorbet. I ordered it out of curiosity and I couldn’t get enough of it, all that I had was delicate but full of flavour, exquisitely paired for a blast of taste. I had vino verde with the meal and it was such a nice wine, I had a very relaxing time and although I was fine dining, I felt right at home!

I‘m a fan. That‘s why this was my third time here. One of the best food experiences I’ve ever had (globally). Four days before we’ve been to Noma and… what shall I say, Inver and chef Pam can more than keep up I‘ll be back in everytime I’m in Scotland.

Incredible food with the freshest ingredients in a beautiful, scenic location. Perfect service. Picking a stand-out dish is hard: from super fresh langoustines to the vegetarian parpadelle, everything here is a highlight. The place is still underrated; go now and enjoy this absolute gem while you can still get a table.
