If you are hankering for Dungeness Crab, this is the place to dine. I go for the full crab cocktail, with cocktail sauce on the side, with an order of cheese bread. They have many other delicious menu items, too! Friendly and clean atmosphere.

Make certain to call ahead and ask if they have Dungeness Crab available as it is seasonal. The prime time is during the months that end with “R”. Their shrimp is very good too.

It was nice, small place older folks here. The 2 ladys were nice that worked atm I came in. Not much options to pick for food tho. Mostly seafood, didn’t see much small bite options. I ordered the huckleberry lemonade drink. I didn’t see the price on the menu for drinks tho. I need to know how much it cost since I need to get cash out to pay for it all. Wish they had more food types, and accepted card

The crab Louie salad is absolutely delicious! They receive fresh crab from Pacific Seafood twice a week. The half salad is quite large, making it enough for a full meal. They also provide a generous dish of salad dressing along with a ladle. I usually have to ask for extra dressing at other restaurants, so I really appreciated this generous portion. The price for crab varies with the season, and you can expect to spend over $25 on a half crab Louie, but it is definitely worth it. We enjoyed every bite.

On our first visit, the crab Louie was served with toasted French bread, but it wasn’t provided during our second visit. On Fridays, they offer clam chowder, which was also good—homemade and fresh. The atmosphere is a hole-in-the-wall dive bar, but I don’t mind when the food is this good. The service is generally attentive and friendly. When we first entered the bar, a patron held the door open, and we thought he was being polite as we walked through. He then rudely remarked, “Believe it or not, I’m not the doorman!” So, the locals may not be particularly welcoming.

The only thing better than the food is the great service and atmosphere. A lovely little slice of heaven with a beautiful view of the river……kinda ( but still) great place

I started with the Lost Coast Tangerine beer on tap, which is definitely one of the best citrus beers that I have ever had!!! The Crab Cocktail was absolutely delicious too!!! Even their Garlic Cheesy Bread was good!!! The atmosphere was super cute & cozy, and the bartender was so friendly and welcoming!!! This family-owned bar has such a chill vibe thanks to all of this!!! Thank you for making our experience a wonderful one!!! 10 out of 10!!!

We were very excited to try this food before going in and were looking forward to trying this new place. We are from Iowa and are staying in Rainier so when we looked for a place to go to, we saw this. As soon as we walked in no one welcomed us and we sat down at a table and waited 15 minutes for anyone to come and speak to us. This waiter was extremely rude and made us feel super dumb and belittled us. We asked questions about the place not being aware of the rules and she made us feel stupid after explaining that we were out of town. I don’t recommend this to anyone out of town the workers ESPECIALLY the bar tender was extremely rude and unwelcoming. Do not recommend.

I’d like to get to know the owner, but I’m not worthy. She way out of my league. I have been there twice now. First time I won some money, but machine ate it. She sent me a cashier’s check! Cool. Thanks again. Second time, lost my ass☹️

We live locally and visit the tavern occasionally. The drinks are good and has a nice bar. But is inconvenient for us because we don’t carry cash for safety reasons, and the business only accepts cash. Also, since most things are so expensive now, it becomes difficult to plan for carrying cash. all the best

Food was crazy good .. had a Ruben and of course the Crab sandwich. Both were excellent, but it took a very long time to get out food. Our server was pleasant and fun, would be great if they took cards, fortunately we had cash.
