Fresh and delicious shish kebab ,mix grill and hamburger. The pita bread was hot and fresh,They also have a belly dancer show, the only thing I didn’t like was that the mix grill not having a skewer of Adana kebab and Adana chicken

This is a hidden gem in Uniontown. This is located in the old south street bar/grill. Locally owned, serves Mediterranean food. There’s chicken, lamb, and sea food options. We had hummus and kuru (yogart/cucumber) dips with pita bread. I had a lamb gyro and my husband had lamb skewers. Everything was very excellent! It was not busy when we went, service was good. I do think people forget or aren’t sure about this restaurant but it is very good and should try if your in town.

This is a gem of a restaurant in Hopwood PA. We have tried the Gyros, Hummus, Saksuka (Eggplant Marinara), Yaprak Sarma (Grape Leaves), Baba Ghanoush, Piyaz (Bean Salad), and Mucver (Zuchini Fritters). All were delicious. One of the best items was a homemade bread that comes with a meal! On the dessert side we ordered the Rice Pudding, Baklava and Custard. Again, all were delicious. It’s hard to say enough good about this restaurant. The atmosphere is not very fancy but the food is great. They serve traditional American fare for breakfast and lunch as well, but that is not what we go for. There are very few restaurants in the Uniontown area that serve good Grape Leaves, Hummus… a real find.

This place is the real deal. We frequent this place and always have a hot freshly made meal. We travel 25 minutes from cheat lake to eat. The hummus is homemade. His bread is the best and gyros and chicken Shish are outstanding.

What a treat! The food was so well prepared that I asked the waitress about the chef’s background. It turns out that he used to work on cruises. We loved everything we ordered! The zuccini pancakes and baklava were amazing. The outdoor seating was lovely too.

Super delicious cuisine with a staff dedicated to providing a great experience. Very intimate setting. The chef is very devoted to his cooking. We plan to go back next weekend and bring friends! Cant wait!

Today I ordered from the take out menu. Ready in under 15 minutes. I had the Shepherd’s Salad, warm pita and warm stuffed grape leaves. (All pictured) The food is delicious. The last time I had the cold grape leaves which are vegetarian. I actually prefer those. But as they were out for the day, I tried the warm ones which have lamb in them. The cold, vegetarian ones are still my fave but these were very good.
Service is very friendly. Food authentic. I can’t wait to go try some of their dinners!

Stopped in here on a Friday evening for dinner with the wife. Beth, our server, was fantastic! She guided us through the menu, offering recommendations and was very attentive throughout our visit. Our meal was incredible. I ordered the lamb chops which were cooked to perfection and the wife had chicken kebab.
I can’t say enough about this place. We recently relocated to Uniontown from Chicago and this was better than any Turkish, Lebanese or dare I say, Greek restaurant in the city.
We are looking forward to many more visits in the future!
