My boyfriend bought some Henna from here. He got the red one. I had some serious chemical burns from it. My hand was burning really bad and it still hurts right now. He bought this earlier today too. I will probably have to seek medical attention due to this. Be cautious , especially if you have sensitive skin. Also know that any henna you get or get done should never cause any burns because henna is natural, the store bought kind like these have chemicals and are not natural. I’m actually scared I might have go to the ER because of this …
3 days later and I got a blister from the henna..
Update: 6 months later and I have a scar.

Order and wait. Because it will be made fresh. Also this is order and takeout only. 25” min for the Chicken Kebab plate which with tax was just under $20.

Wow. So glad I made the choice to order and come back. Now have a favorite Afgani place near Clayton.

Hands down the best kabobs in the area. Most rice plates are like $12, and they are huge portions – enough to feed two people, or one really hungry person. Chapli kabob (see photo) was super moist, tad spicy, and super flavorful. The mantoo (beef dumplings) are also excellent. Orders take about 10 min. Highly recommended!

I used to like this store for their breads ,but recently they started cheating and making the breed thin and light , bought three breads, not enough for one person

A great little Middle Eastern market with a lot of Afghani specialties.

They have fresh food that you can order.
I had the Qabuli which is lamb over basmati rice with carrots and raisins. Also had the Sabzi Chalow which is a spinach dish. Everything was delicious! 10/10

And they have the viral Dubai Chocolate!!!!!
Amazing!!!

International Market is my number one choice for shopping and catering. The freshness and high quality of their ingredients, meats and generous portions are top of the bar. They have unbelievable customer service and are adaptable to your taste preferences. The presentation, cleanliness, and flavors speak volumes towards their desire to satisfy their customers. My favorite items are Palau, Kebab, Bolonee and Beef Dumplings.

I’m so happy to have such a reliable, affordable and delicious go-to place for my Afghan food cravings!

Nice afghan store, but I hope their chicken kebab would be prepared from fresh meat. You can feel from the taste that the meat isn’t good.

They have great customer service. Their afghan bread is really delicious. I think it tastes better than the breads found in Hayward/Fremont. Advice to management: put price tags on the meat.
