Our quest to find good lobster rolls and bisque brought us here. Excellent food and a really nice and friendly owner. We had the Maine and the Connecticut rolls and the lobster bisque and the clam chowder. We loved all of those and for once I remembered to take pictures before I started eating.

This place has a nice selection of Lobster Rolls influenced by different parts of the world. They are delicious and so affordable!
Their best seller is the Garlic Parmesan Lobster Roll and their newest flavor is the Truffle Lobster Roll. I guarantee you will lobe this place.
They are located in Seattle’s Chinatown-International District, so parking may be a challenge.
The owner has a cool backstory on how he started the business, so get a chance to chat with him if possible and he’s a hella cool guy!

Omg. I’m glad I found this spot!! Mom and I ordered a garlic parmesan roll and a cajun mango. Garlic parmesan sauce wasn’t heavy. It was refreshing. Cajun mango was tasty and we loved the spicy kick slowly built up and it was perfect for my mom who doesn’t like too much butter flavor. Even the fries were so crunch and perfect! The owner was so nice and made our day with his kindness. Definitely coming back with my foodie friends soon!

International Lobster Rolls is located in CID in one of the original buildings. Kudos to them for a remodel that yielded a clean and modernized look. They offer lobster rolls that are traditionally prepared, such as the standard Maine and Connecticut styles, or choose amongst those that are uniquely seasoned with international seasonings. Hence, the name of the restaurant. We ordered at the counter and asked for recommendations. The proprietor says the lemon pepper is his favorite. The food came out quickly. We had better luck with the not-lobster roll items.
The Food:
Connecticut Lobster Roll, $19.98 – 4 Stars
This is a traditional preparation, served warm, with the lobster having been drenched in melted butter. They don’t use the flat cut, buttered, and grilled bread. This is closer to a wide hot dog bun. We had better luck with this roll with lobster that are bigger pieces.
Cajun Mango Lobster Roll, $19.98 – 3 Stars
This lobster roll’s seasoning was too salty. I have a high tolerance for salt, and this crossed my line. I am wondering if these are pre-seasoned. We are there nearing closing hours. The lobster meat were not chunks; instead, there were lots of mushy bits that may have absorbed too much seasoning. See photo – no chunks in sight. I am going to pass on the unique flavors next time. Same ‘hot dog bun’ type of bread.
6x Butter Fish Sauce Wings, $11 – 5 Stars
These were excellent. If you are not familiar with Vietnamese style butter fish sauce wings, definitely try these. Wings are also available in multiple flavors.
Classic fries (+ non-alcoholic drink combo), $5 – 4.5 Stars
These fries and non-alcoholic drink are $5 when ordered with a lobster roll. Worth it. These fries are super crispy and flavorful.

What a diverse menu! – Diverse? A lobster roll restaurant? – Yes, it’s truly diverse!! We tried the honey walnut and the gochujang rolls. They were both so fresh and delicious. The sweet potato fries and the garlic butter fries were also a hit. It’s evident in the taste how much thought and creativity went into crafting these delicious rolls.
The owner, Hyan, is such a remarkable man. We really enjoyed our conversations, and thank you for introducing us to donghua!

This place is so cute! Best lobster roll in Seattle with a unique concept of such different flavors to choose from. If you can’t have lobster you can get the flavors with chicken wings. The fries were also delicious! Perfectly cooked with great flavor and dipping sauces.

Why isn’t there a line out the door?? Legit lobster rolls with fries and a drink for $25!! Crazy prices and scrumptuous food. We had the garlic parmesan and Connecticut. Both were great but my favorite was the garlic parmesan. Friendly and efficient service. Will definitely be be back and telling others about this spot too!

Honest to god, this place is fantastic. Ambiance is amazing and very unique, not your typical “seafood” restaurant, just straight good vibes and a homey feel.
Food? Absolutely phenomenal. My friend and I had the Truffle and Garlic Parm Lobster Rolls and the Garlic Crab Fries. Both tasted soo delicious, the truffle is more subtle, but very flavorful. The Garlic Parm really packs a punch and is really strong in flavor. All the food is super yummy and I’ll be back very soon!!
