Stopped here after Pizza Villa and will not be in a hurry to return. The ice-cream was middle of the the road on flavor, but the cookies we’re very disappointing and very expensive. At almost $4 a cookie they have a very generic flavor. I could have went to Jewel and bought some cookies and warm them in the microwave and had the same experience. I guess I expected better for a place that all they do is cookies?

Most of the good cookies were limited or out of stock and they tasted burnt. Very dry and unappealing textures. People that came in after us got fresh baked cookies, that was never an option for us when we were there. You would also think that it being New Year’s Eve that a plethora of all the flavors would be available. My recommendation, your money and go get a crumble cookie or two.

It was very clean. Nate was very helpful, more than willing to allow me to taste samples before I bought my little cup. He suggested I signed up for rewards. I didn’t even know they had rewards!

Absolutely love this place! The cookies are always fresh, warm, and delicious perfect every single time. The staff is friendly, and the service is quick. Definitely my go-to spot whenever I’m craving something sweet late at night!

I gave a star for superior service. I think the staff here is very kind and friendly and the store is clean and well maintained.
I don’t get this product, however. These “warm” cookies just fall apart when you eat them. I suggest a plate and fork or at least a big wad of napkins. They don’t taste all that great. Not worth the cost. I think a cookie should be something you can hold in your hand (not happening here.) Also at boutique prices the cookies should taste out of this world (also not here.) Just go grab a cookie a Jimmy Johns or something because these are just not worth the mess and cost.

Insomnia Cookies is a gem in the middle of DeKalb. Open late, friendly, and DELICIOUS. They have amazing cookies for eat-in or to-go. Add some ice cream or buttercream frosting, or buy a box full. They’re worth it.
