I come to the establishment often to spend time with friends however, tonight I came to watch the Super Bowl. I ordered drinks and food from the bar. Everytime I came to the bar Leanne Katherine (LK) took my order. Even when the bar became crowded LK took my order immediately. The service I experienced was top tier and something I would expect if I had booked a VIP experience but LK stepped up and delivered. This is the best bartender at the establishment and I swear she needs a raise. I would hire her in any service or hospitality business asap and pay the highest salary possible. This bar will lose this employee because I will steal her to run and eventually manage one of my own businesses. Thank you to Innis to am amazing night! LK is also a top player at rock paper scissors and therefore won a higher top margin that normal which was dispersed amongst her fellow bartenders. Again LK, needs a management position and higher salary as she is the kind of employee that creates a culture for clients to return to business.

Came for the drinks. Fun atmosphere. Beautiful day to sit outside. Grouchy bartender at the front bar, didn’t really give us the time of day, felt like she was trying to get rid of us. I’ve read other reviews about the bartenders, seems like it’s a trend because people have had the same experience we have, it’s a shame because that’s the last piece of the puzzle to really make this place great.

This place is a joke. Got multiple $5 doubles. Go up for a 3rd time and I get charged $9 because they “are no longer doing the special”? I give the bartender a $20 bill and she “doesn’t have enough cash in her drawer to give change”?….. there are at least 4 cash drawers behind the bar and they cannot give change to customers who are paying cash? Their social media says $5 doubles Sunday- Wednesday. Why are you allowing cash transactions if you do not have cash to give change to customers? Nevermind the fact it takes 10 minutes to give a drink with an empty bar because all of the bartenders are on their phone.

Must be the offseason. I went here with business associates for lunch. Place was empty. Meant quick service. Food was good but not the best. A relaxed atmosphere.

Innisfree Pub had a rustic Irish pub look to it. This place is located at a really beautiful spot. However, that beautiful rustic feel was not complemented well with their food taste. The atmosphere was really good considering it was summertime. The patio seating is definitely recommendable and had a great view too. They had a good drinks menu with a fine selection of Irish signature drinks. The food was nothing extraordinary. The shepherd’s pie tasted a little bland. Normally, shepherd’s pies come with a baked crust on top. This one, however, had no such thing and was pretty mundane with few strings of cheeses sprinkled on top. I had expected a little more considering this is their signature in-house special. The fish and chips however was good. Overall, this place is a nice spot to hangout on a warm summer evening with a Guiness. I just wished their food was a little better, like it’s contemporaries in other cities.

Innisfree is one of the traditional, well-known bars in Tuscaloosa. They also serve pretty good food, and I recommend going at lunch during the work week. (The bar can be crowded and the service can be very slow on weekends). The meat-and-three options are always a good choice here, and the cheesy fries are awesome. Cons: there’s always a sticky feeling to the floors and tables and a classic bar smell in the whole place. However I still enjoy it when I’m in the mood for sports bar style food.
