Came back for another visit! I was not disappointed. The Greek slate was incredible. A amount of food that will last me for days. And the peanut butter chocolate Moose?! Absolutely delightful.
Old: my coworker and I were absolutely blown away by the one on one attention we received from everyone who was working. A great staff producing great product. Shout out to the baker in the back! She knows what she’s doing – right down to the homemade crust for our flatbread. 10 out of 10 would highly recommend

We visited on Valentine’s Day and, despite a reservation system mix-up that resulted in more bookings than available tables, the staff handled everything with professionalism and grace. Rather than waiting, we happily sat at the bar where Sarah and Lexi were clearly swamped but never let it affect their service or positive attitude. They kept things moving, stayed upbeat, and made the experience enjoyable. Kudos to the kitchen staff as well for keeping up during such a busy night. Even with the hiccup, we had a great experience and truly appreciated how hard everyone worked.

Not sure why it took us this long to visit this hidden gem. Sue and I like to go out to different places a lot. And last night, we decided to try the Inn on Main. Everything about this place was amazing. The social media feeds is what made us come in. We met the owner and he treated us like we were long lost friends. The bartender and staff were super friendly. Fun. And very engaging. The decor of the place made you feel right at home. The food was very tasty. Sue had the drunken chicken And I had the salmon BLT. BLT wasn’t your standard BLT. The bread was really light and not super filling. I am an IPA drinker, and they had plenty of good ones for me to choose from. And for a small bar, their Bourbon selection Was plentiful. Here’s how you know you’re in a good bar. When Woodford is your house Bourbon. We had a great time there last night. And we plan on stopping back again very soon. Thanks for a great night.

The inns Bloody Mary was a meal itself, and the chicken and waffles, fantastic! The waffle was like eating a candy bar. Our waitress was awesome! She was fun and gave us a great experience! Also hot cinnamon buns and fruit while we waited 🙂

If you haven’t been to The Inn on Main in Oley lately, you’re missing out! We had an incredible meal here tonight!
The Sips: A killer Pomegranate Martini
The Star: Drunken Chicken Parm on a toasted sesame seed roll. Total game changer.
The Side: Truffle fries that lived up to the hype.
The Classic: A warm, buttery Connecticut Lobster Roll that tasted like the coast.
Amazing atmosphere inside the beautifully preserved historical inn. The staff were very friendly, attentive, and made the experience special. We’ll definitely be back soon!

My boyfriend and I had reservations at 7:30 on valentine’s day that we made multiple weeks in advance. When we arrived right on time at 7:30, the waiting area was crowded with other couples who also had 7:15 or 7:30 reservations. The host was very sweet and explained there was a wait, however did not say why they were so disorganized and overbooked. There was no system in place to ensure who was next in line to get a table or how long the wait time would be. After waiting for almost an hour to be seated, we left. It was a very disappointing experience, especially on valentine’s day. There was no communication to us or anyone else waiting it seemed like. The entire experience was unprofessional, and we were not able to enjoy our valentine’s day dinner that we booked weeks ahead. The restaraunt clearly has issues with their reservation system and if something like this happens again, people should be made aware of an issue as soon as they walk in, instead of being told it’s a 20 minute wait when it was actually an hour. Several other couples left as well due to the long wait time. Overall a very disappointing experience with no manager in sight. Very unprofessional.

Great Wednesday night escaping the rain for dinner.
Service was excellent. Food and beverage options were great.
The portions were Berks county spot on. Brought half our dinner home with us.
They even put the Phillies on so we could watch the rain delay in Cincinnati.
Fantastic.

Probably one of the worst dining experiences in a while. They were out of calamari, crab cakes, and hamburgers. We ordered the wings which were barely warm, were small and were overcooked. The crab dip was very fishy tasting (on the verge of spoiled). My wife ordered the lobster roll for $32.00, which probably had 1 ounce of lobster meat (which was overcooked). My son ordered a cheesesteak and fries which he liked, but was $23.00. Very underwhelming and overpriced. We would not recommend

UPDATE: 10/4/24. We returned for our anniversary. This time we got French Onion Soup, Seafood Dip, Scallops and the HUGE crab cake. Pics added.
We enjoyed everything. Still should have some music in the place and Crème Brûlée.
We live close and were excited to try The Inn On Main. We sat in the back which was nice because it was quieter than the main dining room. Could use some music though. Maybe some smooth jazz. Our waitress, Skyler, was excellent and remembered our orders without writing it down.
On to the food. The appetizers were fantastic. Burrata Fresca and Scallops Bruschetta. Our main courses were not so great. The steaks were cooked correctly but had little to no marinating or seasoning. The mushrooms were dry. The Mac and Cheese was cheesy but whatever cheese they use was practically flavorless. The Brussel sprouts and bacon were good but we found it odd they were cut up. My wife got the Parmesan peppercorn dip which was really flavorful so, maybe, their Chicken Alfredo might be so as well.
Finally, I found it strange that they charged me an extra dollar to have a bourbon, neat with ice in a glass on the side.
I don’t think we’ll be returning. It’s a shame because the Inn is so close.

We sat on the back patio and had the charcuterie platter followed by the crab cake, prime rib, and stuffed chicken, with crème brûlée for dessert. The side dish of Brussels sprouts with bacon was a novel combination. The food was great, and the service very attentive. We were highly satisfied with our experience, and would highly recommend.
