Stopped by Inlet Shipwreck and had such a great experience thanks to our bartender, Trae! He made an amazing margarita — seriously one of the best I’ve had — and recommended the potato skins, which were absolutely delicious. Friendly service, great drinks, and awesome food suggestions. If you go, definitely ask for Trae!

Our experience at Shipwreck Murrells Inlet was incredible. I wish I remembered our servers name but she was absolutely amazing. Our waters never got empty and she was there to ask if we would like another cocktail without our glass ever getting empty. Food came out super quick. My favorite part of the meal was the potato skins with the pulled pork and I will definitely be returning for them. My kids loved the playground while waiting for food and had to drag them out after dinner. Management was wondering around the dining room asking everyone if everything was ok and accommodating any need necessary. If you are visiting Murrells Inlet you MUST stop in to Shipwreck!

River was out server! Fantastic, attentive and quick with answers and service. We had the mushroom Swiss burger and the Philly steak. Both great! We topped it off with a raspberry cheesecake! Like homemade I make at home-thick and delicious!

Food was very good the only thing is the app. We order took way to long and they need help cleaning there bathrooms the guys at r table where complaining about toliets being clogged the ladies room need a good cleaning also

This establishment is one to skip, sadly. The hot honey chicken sandwich was mild and bland with no taste aside from the chicken and the roll. The shrimp were also tasteless, with not a single speck of seasoning, not even old bay. The macaroni and cheese was Kraft. The fries tasted like the bottom of a pretzel bag- salty to a puckering degree.
The prices were frankly quite high, considering the Facebook advert promised cheap food and drinks, which was a bit disappointing.
The atmosphere was all over the place, as if it couldn’t decide between being bright and kid-friendly, beachy, and rustic.
Our server was the best part of this dining experience. He was pleasant and fairly attentive.
One last note, the logo and branding is “made” by Generative AI, which is most disappointing.
Similar restaurants along the Inlet Strip I reccomend instead are Dead Dog and Creek Ratz. If you’d like to try this place, perhaps wait a few months, as maybe their recipes will change for the better.
