Stumbled upon Inka Fé because of their amazing reviews and the food did not disappoint. Not only was the food amazing but the staff was so friendly, patient, and accommodating. My mom and I got the a bunch of food to try because everything sounded and looked so good and everything we ate we would get again. We also ordered desserts that weren’t pictured but were so yummy (passion fruit mousse and chocoflan). Pictured is homemade sangria, shrimp ceviche in tostones cups, bistec al lo Pablo, lomo saltado, chicken wings with ceviche sauce on the side.

This little place surprised me with its flavor. I ordered pescado a lo
Macho, which is personally one of my favorite Peruvian dishes. To my surprise, it was fresh, the sauce was delicious, and the seafood was al dente. It took a little while to be served, but it was totally worth it because you could tell it was so fresh. The waitresses were very attentive, and the place was clean and organized.

The best Peruvian we’ve had in Long Island! When it comes to Peruvian, I am very picky but Inka Fe truly delivered. The ceviche is delicious! Packed with flavor – this is the dish I will crave time and again. The pulled chicken was also great. The sauce looks heavy but it tasted light. The causa was good but the potato was a bit heavy for my taste. They have great happy hour deal and kids menu. The hot dogs were so good I was eating off my sons plate

Most importantly the service was attentive and the waitress didn’t mind us asking for more and more of the crave worthy green sauce!

We ordered few dishes and everything was very tasty. The leche de Tigre had the perfect amount of lemon, the causa was deli too, the lomo saltado beef was soft , tender not overcook. The desserts are varied and delicious – not too sweet. Oh the services was excellent !

I’m not the type to leave reviews, but this time, this restaurant truly deserves a 10 out of 10. We drove two hours just to eat here, and I would do it again without hesitation. The empanadas were delicious, the chicharrón was amazing and not greasy at all, and the lomo saltado was simply spectacular—the smoky flavor completely won us over. The pisco sour was perfectly balanced and delicious, and to top it all off, the picarones took me back to my hometown, Huacho, and reminded me of my childhood. So thank you for one of the most beautiful afternoons — with great music and food that deserves 100 points!

We recently had a large family brunch here, and I have to say the owner and her amazing staff went above and beyond to accommodate all of us and make sure everything went smoothly. I don’t usually leave reviews but felt this was merited. Half of the family is from Peru and is very particular with their food. Everyone agreed every dish was 5 stars along with the exceptional service and portions. The ambience is perfect for pictures, dancing and owner and her staff genuinely care about making you feel welcome. We will be back again!

We went for the first time today. We were warmly welcomed as soon as we stepped into the door. We were seated immediately as we arrived well past the lunch rush, but before dinner.

We ordered a few different things and ALL were delicious.

Appetizer: Beef Empanada- chopped up beef instead of ground beef was enrobed in a delicious pastry crust. It had great seasoning and the slice of lime cut through any sense of heaviness that sometimes accompanies beef with pastry.

Appetizer: Alitas Acevichada- Oh my goodness. If you like fried chicken and like lime flavoring, this is a dish well worth trying. The friend chicken was beautifully fried, moist and tender. It had a delicious sauce that was drizzled over the chicken and also set aside on the serving plate as additional sauce. Really fantastic. The staff mentioned that the sauce was the same at the ceviche sauce – so really delicious.

Main Meal: Arroz Chaufa Tres Sabores- Classic dish that every Peruvian restaurant should do well, and well they did. It was perfectly seasoned and the shrimp was NOT overcooked. I was really impressed with all the flavors which worked well together.

Aji de Gallina: Amazing. As my husband said, “I don’t even mind that it is made with breast meat. It’s still very moist and tender.” Really this is amazing. The yellow sauce was delicious and the chicken was mixed in with some potatotes, which helped make the dish just a little creamier.

Bisteak al Pobre: The fried eggs were done beautifully sunny side up. The steak was served over fries, plantains, and white rice. Really, this is a staple dish which was excecuted well.

Dessert: We took it to go. We were too full to eat any more. But, the Passion Fruit Mousse was delicious, and we are awaiting to eat the Alfajores. They look delicious.

My sister and I were so excited to try a new Peruvian restaurant… unfortunately it was sooo cold. The girl told us the heating wasn’t working. We decide on la sopa criolla which was very salty. Also ordered some chicharron sandwiches to go, they were good. It was honestly so cold we ended up leaving. They were very nice but we did leave disappointed. We will have to come back in the spring and give it another try.
