I was genuinely surprised to find Inka Chicken in Pflugerville while traveling to Austin, it was close to my hotel and ended up being a great discovery. I ordered the ceviche, and it was fresh, flavorful, and nicely spicy. My wife had the fettuccine a la huancaína with lomo saltado and absolutely loved it. If you’re in the area and craving Peruvian food (or just want something different from the usual), this spot is definitely worth a visit.

Honestly best Peruvian food I’ve had – ever. The lomo salteado was super flavorful. I was pleasantly surprised they also included yuca chips with it. The ceviche was very fresh as well. It came with all the fixings. The price was also very affordable and the staff was very friendly. They even gave my friends samples because they were unfamiliar with most of the food.

Love the chicken here so much, it’s very tasty and the sauces are delicious. The staff are very nice and friendly. We have been eating here for decade. My only concern is the color on the dishes seems to flake off, I’m afraid that every time I ate, I also ate the plastic/ chemical that peeled off. Please please please change the plates to be better quality

Very delicious!! Eat here often and I am never disappointed. The chicken is outstanding I said $10-20 per person but there are things either under or over that price. The chicken with one side is under $10, there’s chef specialties over $20.. the people are very nice. During COVID lockdown, they had a lot of clever ways of dealing with it so they’re on the ball.

One of the best Peruvian restaurants I’ve ever tried in Austin Tx. The food was incredibly authentic and full of flavor. I especially loved the tostones , they were absolutely delicious. I truly enjoyed my experience and can’t wait to come back! 10/10

Don’t let the drive through fool you. This restaurant is a hidden gem.

The half chicken I ordered was well seasoned and moist. This can only be achieved by the chef knowing what they are doing. Attention to detail was key.

The service was friendly and helpful. As this was my first time, I was unfamiliar with the menu. The gentleman taking the order was patient and friendly.

Overall, give this place a try, you will not regret it.

Inka Chicken used to be good…

The manager asked me how my food was, the 1/4 chicken meal, and I said “It was good! But honestly, the piece we got was half bone.” (They served us the rib cage with barely any meat on it and every bite had a bone, my sister swallowed one…) And she would just not take criticism. She responded, “Actually we only use ‘organic halal chicken’ and naturally the dark pieces of meat are mostly bone.” (I’m thinking, it wasn’t like this last time?) I responded, “Well, wouldn’t you take that into consideration and serve your guests a fair portion for the price?” She then snapped back and said, “In Perú, this is how it’s traditionally served.” (I’m Peruvian btw, and Inka Chicken is far from tradition, with literally burritos and tortillas on the menú?? and the rocoto sauce tastes my ketchup and mayo. which is fine but don’t make false claims) I said back to her, “Well, I’m actually Peruvian and this is not how it’s served.” She snapped again and said, “Actually it is.” I then understood she didn’t genuinely care about anything I had to say nor wanted to make it right. Disappointed, I ended the conversation with, “Well, maybe just consider your servings next time so that customers can get a fair amount for their money. Bye.”

Safe to say, this will be my last visit.

RIP Inka Chicken

Ordered from this place on DoorDash because someone recommended it. The food did not disappoint! I ordered 2 of the 4 person family meals and it was enough to feed 8 people at my office. The employees asked if we could order from here again bc the food is 10/10. They were fighting over the plantains! Haha I can’t wait to eat from here again
