Husband and I went here for our anniversary. Atmosphere was absolutely gorgeous, calming, and interesting.
Our waitress was a beautiful Goddess. She had a warm smile and knew the food on the menu to explain it well.
The food is so healthy and so flavorful. You will think you’re eating the food of heaven.
She was attentive and they even brought us a complimentary anniversary dessert. Pistachio sauce and pistachios over vanilla ice cream. It was divine. One of the best things I have EVER eaten in my life, and I’m half Italian, so that’s saying a lot!
Food to nearly cry for. Go try this place out when you are able to spend more for a special, healthy, fancy meal with someone you love.
We had a lot to talk about as we enjoyed beautiful Ethiopian food, as we looked around at the pretty art, and artificial plants that abound helping you have a rich experience.

This restaurant is a gem! When you walk in, you’re met with warmth. The decor has a modern, chic yet approachable vibe that is perfect whether you’re having a date night, meal out with friends, solo lunch, or looking for a comforting family dinner. The staff have been kind, attentive, and welcoming every time we’ve been. My favorite, can’t-get-enough-of, meal is the vegetarian combo. I always add the potato and beet appetizer to it. It’s an absolute flavor bomb in every bite, and the textures are so satisfying! This meal is great for gut health, low glycemic, gluten free, plant based. What else could you ask for? The menu has many other traditional dishes that include meat. Also a great dessert menu and coffee service if you want a nice finisher. There’s truly something for everyone here. This is a place I’m happy to have leftovers of so I can enjoy the meal again the next day. It reheats well! Can wait for our next visit!

Came here for the first time! We ordered shiro and vegetarian dishes on plant based menu! It took a quite awhile but the vegetarian plate we got was really good! Injera was perfect texture and tart flavor with delicious sauce and food items! Shiro needed some umami seasoning but other than that our visit was pleasant. Would love to be back! Cheers

I recently visited this place. It was not planned; I just saw Ineja and did a U-turn. The food is good, and the staff is attentive, just slow in everything that I order.
I will visit again, since Austin does not have a lot of options with Ethiopian foods

What a wonderful place to dine. Service was exceptional food was as well. The atmosphere is great and warming. We walked in late on Saturday 9pm they closed at 10 so I was worried that it might have been too late to dine in and order. It wasn’t. My husband and I were the only ones there dinning. The waitress was so gracious and caring that we got what we wanted. We were visiting the city and wanted Ethiopian food. I have several fav restaurants for Ethiopian food in different cities and this is an added on for me. The owner is very polite and loves what she does your can tell. This is a gem worth visiting and the foodie in me was doing a happy dance all the way to my Hotel!!

They’re still in soft launch, so no expectations, and they blew it out of the park. We got the meats for 2 plate and Ethiopian spiced tea. The food was delicious and it’s a nice, clean location. We’ll definitely be back.

Ethiopian food is so full of flavor. The food presentation was part of the enjoyment as it was placed on the injera bread at the table. We got the mixed platter for two. Each item was a uniquely spectacular explosion of taste. From mild to spicy each bite satisfied. Communal eating with fingers is an experience not to be missed.

Celebrated my friend’s birthday tonite and the food was ‘beyond’ delicious! Started with the beef sambusas and they just made us more excited for what was to come! The dipping sauce was heaven 🙂 We did the yengus combo (meat combo) platter for 2 and loved it. We always gravitate towards spicier dishes so the key wot (spicy beef stew) and doro wot (spicy chicken stew) were our favorites. It would be nice to have a “build your own combo” plate but this was a nice option to have a little bit of everything. The lamb tibs were so tender and flavorful and came with a spicy dipping sauce that I would love to bottle up! Our servers were so friendly and attentive. We’ll definitely be back! Thankful for a piece of Ethiopia in our neighborhood!

Food is quite costly and service is super slow and not at par.
We waited for food for almost 45 minutes when the restaurant was mostly empty.
We ordered some chicken stew it literally came with one small chicken pieces, one egg and lot of curry for $24. Initially they justified it saying this is the beauty of this dish with less chicken pieces but later they realized and got some more from kitchen .As you can see in the attached picture.
This location has some potential and i hope things improve.

Heard about this restaurant from our son and went to try it out as a family. We have never had Ethiopian food before.
It was amazing! The injera was soft, spongy, and every dish had its own unique flavor — the greens, lentils, and veggie mix were super tasty, and the spicy stews were rich and full of depth. We also ordered a few dishes of lentil and beef sambusas which were very tasty when dipped in the hummus.
I loved how everything came together when scooped up with the injera — such a fun way to eat and share food. Finished it off with a Swiss roll for dessert that reminded me of tiramisu.
Portions were generous, the colors were vibrant, and honestly the whole experience just felt warm and inviting. The restaurant is nicely decorated and we got to talk to the owner. This is a family operation and it’s all authentic. The real deal! The staff were all super friendly.
Definitely going back for round two soon!
