expected a lot better from this place. The pizza wasn’t great, and the customer service was disappointing as well. No one came by to check on us, ask if we needed anything, or even see how the food was. My kid didn’t like the pizza at all and said it was nasty, and wouldn’t eat it. Overall, it was an underwhelming experience, especially given the expectations for this pizzeria.

Inizio’s is hands down one of our favorite places to eat. The Neapolitan style pizza is incredible. We always order the Margherita pizza and add pepperoni and it never disappoints. The wood fired pizzas cook in about 90 seconds and come out perfectly every time. The Italian chopped salad is a must order. It is huge, fresh, and easily enough for our family of four to share. The dressing is so good. We always finish with gelato and it tastes just like authentic gelato from Italy. Amazing food, great atmosphere, and a place we highly recommend and will keep coming back to.

Inizio Pizza is a fantastic spot for authentic Neapolitan-style pizza. The pizzas are made to be enjoyed fresh, and they’re best eaten right there while they’re hot. The food always comes out quickly and hot, which makes the experience even better. Their Italian gelato is hands down the best in Huntersville and the perfect way to finish the meal. Consistently great food and a place we’re always happy to return to.

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our dining experience! We ordered the large Maria, a delicious vegetarian pizza with a tomato base, cheese, and mushrooms. As a thin crust pizza lover, I was impressed. The pistachio cannelloni was also fantastic – perfectly balanced and not too sweet.
The vegetarian pizza options were plentiful, and we appreciated the ability to customize our order. Our servers, Nicholas and Ryan, provided exceptional customer service ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐. We’re eager to return and try more of their pizzas!

BEST PIZZA IN CHARLOTTE! My boyfriend and I LOVE Inizio and this was our first time at the Birkdale location. The food was spectacular as always. Very fresh ingredients. Quality is unmatched every time. The service was also fantastic. Very quick delivery to the table and very nice and helpful staff. The only reason I regrettably gave 4 stars was due to the ambiance of this location. The inside was freezing cold. We sat outside. Which was fine until the fans were blasting us so hard we had to hold on to our table tent so it wouldn’t keep blowing away and another table had to ask to shut them off. The worst part was the music. Nicki Minaj and Katy Perry playing so unbearably loud I will never return to this location for that reason. I do not want to listen to loud EDM/Pop music while enjoying a glass of wine and dinner after work. Either change it to something a bit more mellow and turn it down or no music please! I’ve only ever been to the Dilworth store and I don’t remember the vibes being this bad. I will be sticking to that location from now on.

First time trying this spot and I was really impressed. Tried their classic Margherita and it was some of the best pizza I’ve had in a long while. If you like Neapolitan style pizza this place does it well. I didn’t eat in but the spot itself seemed well kept and staff is friendly. Good online ordering/ready notice system.

I couldn’t decide what I wanted so we drove around and we haven’t been to Birkdale in a while so we came across this establishment and made a date night out of it. A gentlemen walked in and told us they had great pizza so that’s all I needed to hear!
The menu wasn’t overwhelming and I could tell everything appeared fresh! We tried the Capricciosa Pizza and the cashier suggested I try the Emelia-Romagna Salad. Everything was so good that I can honestly say no more Domino’s, we will be making the drive and ordering here from now on!
I would definitely recommend ordering this pizza and salad! Everything was fresh and everyone was professional, asking if we needed anything. Food is definitely delicious!!! 1000/10 I recommend!!!
