Bluesy, boozy, and beautiful! The Inferno Tavern is another local gem with broad appeal for adults. Tonight (Saturday) they had a live blues band and they were by far and away the best such talent I’ve heard. The band fit right in and set the tone of this Tavern which has three distinct serving areas; a main dining room with bar, a more private dining room, and a billiard lounge. We had a reserved table in the red room (private dining). We were celebrating a birthday and the staff had thoughtfully decorated the table in advance with lighted “22” for us. A nice touch. The red room is one of those wonderful spaces that I could spend hours reading a book with a couple of Old Fashioneds….
The bar appeared to be well stocked and although their printed cocktail menu might look abbreviated, I’m confident that they can make you whatever you’re into.
The food was hot and delicious. No issues here. Tasty and fresh with plenty of creative options on the menu. Thankfully the menu was well planned and focused. The variety of offerings is perfect.
The vibe here (at night anyway) is almost Speakeasy like. Vibrant, rich, colors live alongside natural textures and classic furniture. Beautiful lighting and decor means someone was paying attention to details. The place is exceptionally clean. All of this comes together to make the Inferno Tavern your new favorite restaurant and bar.

I’ve been meaning to try this place, And got the chance. First this dislikes. We arrived at 645 to no host and we were served at 740. Not busy 2/3 full maybe less (We only ordered hamburgers and chicken tenders). Very slow. The spicy margaritas. It was extremely dry or bitter. The heat was perfect, just unpalatable. The good, the burger was good. Well cooked, bun was amazing. Fries are different, but crispy. Atmosphere was a Little on the dark side, creepy castle Vibe. Overall, I feel like the restaurant/tavern is struggling for a identity or path.

I’m not one to pull punches, and as much as I had high hopes for this place, I just waited 40 minutes for this puny, partially tough chicken sandwich with weak-looking burnt bacon and no Chipotle aioli that was supposed to be on it. And yes, I expressed my displeasure with my server/bartender and received nothing more than an apology and my bill. I could have gotten better food from Cookout for half the price in less than four minutes. Needless to say, this was a bad first impression, and I doubt there will be a second.

I had a spectacular time here last night with a small group. The atmosphere and food were fantastic! We tried a number of appetizers, as well as a few sandwiches. Exceptionally seasoned and prepared, the food was an unexpected delight. The fries were absolutely crazy good: lightly seasoned, crisp on the outside, and fluffy potato on the inside. I will definitely be back!

Such a cool place, it’s such a warm atmosphere. The staff is so nice but service does take a little bit. We had to wait for our food a little longer than one would like but not long enough to be an issue. They frequently have live bands that are very talented. The food is so good and I would definitely go again! The pool tables cost $1 and the room has seating and a jukebox. The bourbon room was to DIE for. Very cozy and an amazing atmosphere to socialize and relax in. The patio area is very relaxing with couches, chairs, and various seating options. Overall, a very good experience and I would go back again!

Valentines Day. Our 2nd visit. This bar, restaurant, tasting room with a Billard room . A unique large English styled Tavern . Music, great bar , separate bar in the bourbon tasting room. Restaurant area separate. Reasonably priced, fun place to unwind. Thought about not reviewing it. To Keep it to ourselves. Now you know.

Stopped in prior to a show at the Newton performing arts center. Enjoyed our visit and plan to be back. Had the pretzel bites with beer cheese and an inferno burger. Food was great and our bartender (Scott) was friendly and attentive. The restaurant has neat tavern vibe.

Went out to Inferno last night and had an awesome experience. It’s such a beautiful spot with a super homey and chill atmosphere, perfect for a date night. They had live music which definitely added to the experience. The drink menu is awesome but they went out of their way to curate the perfect drinks for us. We got a burger and the French dip, both were great. Highly recommend!

First time there was a great experience! The food was phenomenal! We all enjoyed our meals . I had the short ribs. They were very, very tender. Melt in your mouth goodness! My husband had the mac & cheese add your own. He had spinach and shrimp. And my sister had the chimichurri chicken. Everything was fresh. We had a waitress named Cameron. She was awesome. She was on the ball. As a server in the past, I have high expectations. I told her she was very good at her job. A gentleman named Holden was walking around and checking if everyone was happy with their selections. He couldn’t have been any nicer. We will definitely be back! Oh, and they have outside seating, which is just so nice. It would really be nice to watch the band on the patio. The entertainment was good as well. Can’t wait to see this place again. I don’t live very close so it will be a once in a while thing. But surely anytime I’m in the neighborhood.

Visited on a Friday evening when live music was happening. Great atmosphere but we had a guest & wanted to talk so asked if we could sit on the patio & they said yes. Really liked the honey-lime wings — perfectly crispy & flavorful. Sweet & Tang Wings were less crispy, still good flavor. The Prosciutto Arugula pizza was good but on the sweet side. We’ll definitely be back to try some other items. Have to say our server Brandon was so helpful and took great care of us, especially since he had to go out of his way with us being the only people seated outside.
