Comfort foods, many draft beers & cocktails are served in a clubby, woods-&-brick space.

I had a great experience at Indigo Kitchen & Ale House. The atmosphere is warm and friendly, very much a neighborhood hangout. The space is casual and slightly dark inside, with modern, cool aesthetics that make it feel comfortable and inviting without trying too hard.
The menu comes across as a Mexican and Asian inspired fusion with a lot of range. There is a strong selection of entrée salads, seven different tacos, and a large menu that allows you to stay light with small bites or lean into more upscale offerings. Items like poblano artichoke dip and blackened tuna feel elevated and would not be out of place on a steakhouse menu.
I started with the steak bites and sautéed bean sprouts, and they were excellent. The beef was nicely seared and cooked medium rare, paired with crunchy bean sprouts, shallots, and green onion. At first glance it almost resembled a noodle dish, but the texture quickly set it apart. The light soy and pineapple broth added subtle sweetness and depth while letting the beef flavor remain the focus.
The happy hour chicken tacos were also very good. The chicken was clearly marinated and made from scratch, with toppings and condiments that felt thoughtful and well balanced. What stood out most overall was how personal and comforting the food felt, like something you would cook for yourself at home. It was a genuinely satisfying meal, and I would gladly return for both happy hour and a relaxed dinner.

Starting off this location is very clean and the staff are phenomenal, very courteous and very accommodating. The food really good with different takes on certian dishes. I had these blackend salmon tacos that were really delightful and filling. The coconut shrimp appetizer was really good as well. The their brownies no nut with ice cream was so moist with the perfect amount of sweetness. I got to tell I’m a sucker for brownies and ice cream. The setting is dark however if inside is not your scene they do have outside seating as well. The overall look is relaxing with good taste. The pricing is up but not too expensive good place for a date. There were lots of vegan options as well as different cocktails to try. I had the Indigo Lemonade, it was ok. Overall the place gets 4 stars a major reduction due to being a restaurant named Indigo and not have a signature Blue drink maybe made with butterfly pea tea for a natural blue look without food coloring.

The blackened salmon tacos were double-wrapped in white corn tortillas, and they were fresh and very tasty. I opted for a cup of their homemade clam chowder, sprinkled with crackers–downright delicious.
Friendly, not too loud, spacious with lots of seating and private-type booths for more conversation. Great atmosphere and all around enjoyable.

Really loved it there! Just visited this week. Menu is surprisingly well balanced. Had some grilled chicken with rice pilaf and beans. Tasted good. Great place for lunch or diner, quiet atmosphere with light music. Lots of seating options and friendly staff.

Indigo Kitchen is awesome. The food always hits the spot and everything tastes really fresh. The place has a chill vibe, the staff is friendly, and the service is quick. I’ve been a few times now and it’s always solid. Definitely one of my go-to spots in Lynnwood.

We really expected to love this place based on the menu, but were disappointed. The atmosphere is fine, but the music was too loud and it got hard to have conversation. The service was fantastic, no complaints there, but the food was an odd mix of Mexican (more southwestern style) and Cajun, sometimes on each dish. I ordered the pork and pineapple tacos and it came with Cajun red beans and rice. It seems like those flavors would go together, but they clashed. My friend ordered jambalaya pasta and it had a hint of a jambalaya flavor, but he said it tasted more like Polish sausage than andouille. He didn’t like it very much. We both had cocktails. Mine was too sweet, his was perfect. Overall I don’t know if I’ll go back again or if I do, I’ll try to order better.

Amazing service! Calm environment. Great food and drinks. I had the lemon meringue drink, it was delicious!! Also the cranberry lemon drop was delightful. The bartender, Mark, provided excellent drinks and provided outstanding customer service. The black and bleu burger was a good sized portion. Good flavor. Absolutely loved the chips & salsa with guacamole.

Great ambience and friendly service! The food was quite enjoyable — we especially loved the roasted street corn, green chicken enchiladas, and the blackened chicken pasta. All were flavorful and well-prepared. The mocktails, particularly the peach and guava, were refreshing and a nice touch.
One note for those with dietary restrictions: they currently don’t offer complete low- or no-sodium options for entrees like rice, as many components come pre-prepared. I had called ahead to check on this and appreciated their honesty.
Overall, a good spot with welcoming vibes and smiling faces. Would definitely consider coming back!

They have the best happy hour ever. I highly recommend the wedge salad, harvest salad, fish and chips, basically anything off the happy hour menu. Or any of their menus for that matter. If you’re into whiskey – they got that too. Eagle Rare, Blanton’s, Weller, and yes… Pappy.
The place has a friendly, intimate, and boutiquey quality to it. High end without prices that’ll go Wolverine on the wallet.
If you know what’s good for you – you’ll go. Or in other words – you probably won’t, but absolutely should.

Absolutely hidden gem in Alderwood area, at least hidden to me, I must admit. Place was nicely full, but not too full on a random Wednesday night. Great music in the background, mostly standard jazz and soul classic hits that are never out of style. Lighting tops it all off as its subtle discreet, you may think you’re in a French bistro at midnight, stellar indeed. Service was also superb, 3 folks, 3 genuine smiles and concerns for dear guests. Never pushy even a tiny bit, but always there should we needed anything. Last but not the least food and cocktails were on par, no complaints and great taste all over. Definitely not to be missed for special occasions or after exhausting evening of shopping in the nearby mall.
