We need more places like this in St Peters. There’s so much flavor going on in this menu. Some of the best Belgian waffles I’ve ever had and I cannot wait to return. This is more of a boutique than a dinner so seating is limited. Cold brew coffee was good. Looking forward to trying new smoothies. Very environmentally conscious place

Amazing waffles! They came with no syrup and they were so good no syrup was needed. Nashville hot chicken and waffles was the special the day we went and it was great. Also try the future greens and b-energy smoothies. They were delicious!

My husband and I truly enjoyed the food here and the owners AJ and Shannon are absolutely wonderful people with a heart for sustainable, delicious food. I had the sweet potato tortilla chip nachos and my husband had an authentic Belgium waffle with nashville hot chicken. This is a must try, trust me, you will not be disappointed!!!

The owners are U.S Air force vets who know what they’re doing here! Indie Eatery is a delicious, healthy, and earth friendly restaurant. I tried the Compost Nachos and the Future Greens Smoothie and was wowed. Can’t wait to go back and try other items on the menu. See you again soon!

I found out about Indie Eatery while searching for a place for my best friend to brunch for her birthday. While Indie wasn’t the right fit for her because she was looking to TURN UP if you know what I mean, It was quite right for me! The food and drinks were PERFECT! I’ve had five items off the menu in two weeks. The waffles any way you have them are delicious! The Nashville Chicken and waffle was magical! I’ve never had a waffle that I didn’t have to drench in syrup! This required none! The snickerdoodle French toast reminded me of a home! French toast has always been an item that I’d try once and then ghost afterwards. It’s like fancying a guy for forever then going on a date and finding he totally doesn’t live up to what you hyped him up to be. You ghost! J/K! But seriously! The chicken tacos are from heaven! I also had two drinks one with ginger and turmeric and it was the perfect blend. Most places, hell even the one’s I’ve tried to make have too much of either of those ingredients and it makes you want to cringe. Somehow I always end up drinking it all because I know I need the benefits. This drink and my vanilla matcha were good down to the very last drop! On a more serious note this place is so amazing to me because of all the thought and love that went into manifesting this dream. Everything biodegradable, home grown, or locally sourced down to the herbs for the most delicious water I’ve ever sipped. The ambiance is LOVE. Its open heart chakra love. Its Family. Its familiar. It’s literally like going home when you’ve been away and out in the turmoil of the world for too long and you step into your mom’s, favorite aunt and uncle’s, or your granny’s house and you know that you’re loved. That feeling I seriously shed a tear of joy and love after having a conversation with the owner. She is a Beautiful Soul! This place is definitely a must try!

This place is seriously great and a hidden gem in Saint Peters. It’s menu is focused and sustainable with vegan and vegetarian options but also something if you’re looking for something a little more mainstream. I ordered the compost nachos, which is what is pictured. They came in a biodegradable container with a wooden utensil. The price point is about comparable to something like a QDOBA or Bread Co. The iced chai tea I had was also stellar.

My husband and I looooove Indie Eatery. The food is absolutely delicious and the B Energy smoothie is one of the best smoothies we’ve ever had. The waffles are always so fresh and the chicken tacos are amazing! Shannon is also always so welcoming and knowledgeable about her menu. We’ve gone 2 weekends in a row and will definitely make many more trips!

This was our first time visiting Indie Eatery and it will definitely not be our last. The food is some of the best we’ve ever had, the atmosphere is amazing and the owners are the kind of people that you just don’t meet everyday. They are kind and friendly. They make you feel at home. They selflessly served our country for years and now are using their gifts to bring good and real food to all of us. What an amazing place that St. Peters is fortunate to have. We can’t wait to go back!

My boyfriend found Indie Eatery through its stellar reviews, and when we stopped by we were blown away. The food really IS that good! We ordered the spicy chicken and waffles, the Moonbeam, a blood orange soda, and a vanilla matcha drink — the flavor of it all was outstanding. The staff was warm and friendly as well, with a clear connection to the community. I cannot recommend this hidden gem enough, though if you’re stopping by as a large group, be mindful that there is limited seating.

Indie Eatery catered a small brunch for my department at work. Shannon was extremely easy to work with and the overall experience was wonderful. I was familiar with their business philosophy and style based on the delicouis meals we’ve enjoyed in the cafe. The catering options were equally as flavorful and unique. Everyone loved the food and presentation. We had fruit salsa, parfaits, and mini chicken and waffle skewers – something for everyone – and reasonably priced. I look forward to many more delicious meals in the cafe and will always use/recommend when needing an event catered.
