Ok….I’m super picky about my Indian food. I’ve been spoiled by a few of my friends and, while the food at some of the places recommended has been good, it was hard to rate any of them a 5 in all the categories. Most of them fall short in service or atmosphere (or both!!).
I learned about this place last year when I bought a dress from the owners wife (her shop is a few doors down). I should have been here sooner!!! India’s Oven is 5 stars all the way. It is elegant, yet approachable and almost serene inside. The service was quick, courteous and helpful. The food was outstanding…… absolutely perfect. Great place (and the prices are reasonable plus they have a full bar!! Woooooot) I can’t post photos because we are it all LOL

I found a piece of chicken in my dal makhni, which is completely unacceptable for a vegetarian dish. This raises serious concerns about the restaurant’s hygiene and food handling practices. I would strongly advise others to be cautious before ordering from here.

Absolutely delicious! The curries were rich, flavorful, and perfectly spiced, with tender meat and generous portions. You can really taste the care and authenticity in each dish. Highly recommend if you’re craving comforting, flavorful food — I’ll definitely be back!

I love that you can customize the spice level of your dishes. The portions are great. Dal tadka is my Y
to go favorite dish. The biriyani is flavorful The only thing I didn’t like is the tamarind seeds left in. I had to be careful what I was biting into. The sauce for the vegetable pakora was nice. I love the size of the pakora it’s so nice and crispy.
The second time I went to this place I felt like the spice levels went down. The service was quick and fast. They do have another location in Tower district.

The best tandoori chicken, the best curry chicken, delicious lentils, scrumptious garlic naan bread, wonderful paneer pakora, extra large vegetable samosas, and unbelievable vegetable biryani, and if that isn’t enough you also get the most unbelievable customer service.! I would give 10 stars if I could!

I ordered lamb biryani through Postmates with this restaurant today. The delivery came through in a timely fashion although it was about and hour wait. Once I got the food delivered I opened up to find that this was a chicken biryani. The plastic box was labeled LB for lamb. I contacted the restaurant to communicate this error. I know what chicken and lamb looks and taste like. However the receptionist who answered response was as follows
“Our chef made sure it was lamb, and our lamb is not that chewy sir???…and said that if there is actually and error they are unable to do anything at the time” this is not acceptable for the price they charge for these items and that is poor service.

Best Indian food in town! The service is awesome and the food is delicious!! I’ve tried butter chicken at over 10 restaurants and India’s Oven has the best HANDS DOWN! I’d show a pic but I ate it all! Here’s a pic of another chicken tikka dish though! !
