We had heard great things about this supper club and so decided to give it a try. We met another couple there that had also never been there. We went on the night of 2/28. BTW we drove almost an hour to experience this place.
When we arrived the exterior looked very cool and continued the lodge feel inside. The server took our drink orders and appetizer orders which came out quickly. Don’t order the spinach artichoke dip. It’s not dip its a gooey ball of melted mozzarella with artichokes and spinach stirred in. The boom boom shrimp presentation looked good, but tasted average at best.
Then ordered 2 sirloin steak and scallops specials, the tempura shrimp, and ribeye steak. The sirloin steaks was so tough neither one of us could eat it. There were only 3 small scallops with the steak. Emphasis on small scallops. My wife’s tempura shrimp were so over breaded you could hardly find the shrimp and under cooked and were doughy inside. She couldn’t eat them.
When we complained to the server she said she would talk to the manager. After several minutes she comes back, rather than the manager and said we were the only ones to complain and then walked away not willing to do anything.
All the while we had to endure an over crowded dinning area where you could hardly hear the person across the table. At one point I had to use the restroom and took the hike down to the basement through the hallways to the men’s bathroom which was disgusting. The urinal smelled awful and apparently haven’t cleaned the cobwebs and spiders out for months.
I don’t mind paying their prices if the meal and service was good, but for this experience, bad food, dirty environment, and service that didn’t care, over crowded is ridiculous. Save you time and money and skip this place.

Apparently you don’t care much about my feedback as you can’t even write a reply to the issues I pointed out. Your reply below is obviously cut and pasted from your reply to another poor review you had online.

My wife and I ate here as part of a group. We’d never been here before. I am glad that they’ve kept the moderately politically incorrect name. The place is well-maintained with some interesting dated native American artwork. The food was quite good. I had the Seafood Jambalaya and my wife had the maple glazed walleye, and both were excellent. The service was pleasant and efficient, particularly being part of a group of 14. Ambience was casual but friendly. Prices are moderately high but not extravagant. We are likely to eat here again.

This restaurant embodies what you would expect from a supper club while at your cabin up north. Old lodge-like building with a person playing the piano to set the mood. The food was very good, the walleye was the top meal. I was kind of hoping for the old-fashioned relish tray but no luck. Drinks were decent and the service was good. You’re probably going to need reservations so plan accordingly.

I have heard really good things about this place, so I decided for a special date night, I would take the wife here.
It started out great with a wonderful wait staff, quick drinks, quicker appetizer (boom boom shrimp are to die for), even our soup and salad were delivered to our table in a timely manner and delicious.

And that’s about where the good stuff ended.
My prime was decent at best, tender for sure… just not much flavor otherwise. As for the wife’s steak and scallops, we have no idea what kind of sauce it was swimming in when she got it, but it’s not anything we were told about when we ordered it, and it tasted almost like a musty old building if we had to describe it in any way to be honest.
After sending it back to the kitchen, (which took so long I was basically done with my prime rib by the time she got hers back), and then it was more raw than medium rare, so we brought what was left over home to be cooked later and enjoyed. After spending that much money we weren’t just gonna throw it when it could be salvaged.
Needless to say, I’m not sure we will be back or recommend this place.

Always a great dining experience! A beautiful up north supper club. We had the Filet au Poivrè, and the walleye, both were very good! My steak was very good and has become my favorite!
Our waitress was very good, made good suggestions and was friendly and efficient!
All in all another great experience at Indianhead!

One of the worst dining experiences I have ever had. Treats great things about this place in the past so was disappointed to have all our food almost inedible. The Alfredo want Alfredo at all but like a soup on noodles. The sauce on the steak was so salty that my wife couldn’t eat it also was almost raw instead of med rare. Wasn’t busy yet had to really track our waitress down, sealed like she was upset to have us there for dinner. Won’t be back and wouldn’t recommend.

The staff was exceptional. Great food (warm Brie, prime rib, sirlion, crème brûlée and lava cake)! Very accommodating when we called last minute and they were full but squeezed us in! Heather was a great server and the staff was all so friendly! Sorry no more food photos as we ate everything too quick!

My wife and I visited here again last night and it was great, as usual. We both had sirlions this time and they were excellent, cooked to perfection. I added the pan fried walleye and it was excellent as well, will defintely be ordering that again.
Thanks for another great experience!

I had a lovely dinner last weekend. The ribeye was delicious, the salad had real blue cheese and the service was perfect. I will be coming back with my people shortly.

Maybe it’s my fault for getting jumbalaya at a supper club, it was ok, but not great by any means. My gf got prime rib and was disappointed also. Don’t think we will making the trek back up to indianhead any time soon.
