My favourite indian food place!!
Every time i eat there i get the chicken makhani which is absolutely delicious and not spicy (unless you want it to be) with the garlic naan. The service is really good and everyone is very polite so i would definitely recommend this place!!

First of all: The restaurant has a very good atmosphere. The interior is authentic, there aren’t only “Bollywood” music, but also other Indian songs. The service was perfect, the crew was very friendly and took their time to explain the things in the menu. We tried the Menu Delhi with Mango Lassi. The starter and the soup was very good. The main dish – as it should be – was a complete mix: spicy-meaty-fruity.
Just one remark: If you would like to eat with hot spices, ask for it! Basically the dishes here are made with many spices, but not so hot.

We are regulars at this place. Though there are many restaurants in walking distance to my appartment – even including 2 Indian places – we prefer to drive to this place. The food is delicious, I’d even say it is currently unmatched anywhere in Hamburg.
Family run business, friendly atmosphere.
Just be aware, it can be a bit drafty (I feel cold very easily and always carry a light jacket just in case).

“I went to this restaurant yesterday with my colleagues. The food was average compared to Indian standards. One disappointing aspect was the portion of rice — although we ordered three full main dishes, we were served a very small portion of rice for all of us. When we asked for more, they provided just one small extra serving and charged us for it separately. I found this quite unreasonable. Also, the prices for simple snacks like papadam were surprisingly high.”

A very nice restaurant with handful menu of delicious food. Things are not complicated here and you can choose to say the spiciness. The waiters speaks English, Hindi and German. You have the luxury to order Indian spicy or German spicy categorized as low, medium, high.
The food is very tasty and you get real taste of India.
Gave a 4 star rating because of the price compared with other restaurants like baadshah.
However , the ambience and serving on table deserves it.
You get some good collection of alcohol too.
