A decent Indian restaurant in Interlaken. If you are walking past the restaurant be prepared to be approached by the staff to lure you into the restaurant.
Ofcourse the folks are friendly and good to talk to, they don’t really pressure you.
Doesn’t have a wow factor, nothing memorable, decent average food. They have a large seating area outdoor as well as indoors.
Service is slow, once they get you and serve you the food they are pretty much chasing other potential customers.

One word STAY AWAY ! DONT FALL PREY TO THE PAID REVIEWS !! This stands the worst ever Indian restaurant I ever ate at outside india. All the restaurants around chase you to get you like auto drivers outside Indian railway station. I saw the reviews and went here and I don’t know if the reviews are paid or something because what I ate was utterly distasteful! I told tandoori chicken well done but it was stale jald cooked. Butter chicken was very sour and seems tomato purée was twice the amount. Even chicken in the curry was not cooked. The nan was half cooked and I feared it might damage my stomach and moreover rice was smelling and half cooked too !! And all of this for 58 $ !! After giving my food they didn’t even come back to ask and even to pay bill I had to chase them. I did tell him that one food item is bad could be understood but everything is bad !! He just said sorry ok bye !! I recommend you guys better goto spice lounge which is in adjacent lane. Honestly these restaurant guys are doing this by chance and not by choice ! If you are reading my review and still want to go there then good luck. I wish I can give no stars at all. Very very disgusting shabby place as well. Stay away !! Better grab coffee or croissant if you are too hungry. Btw I threw almost all the food as the server wasn’t even interested to listen to me. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE !

Small portions ,bland food and below average quality and quantity. The staff is quite pushy making you come into there restaurant .As soon as you enter the street everyone from both sides starts calling you .
We requested chicken pakoras which were not available then had to order samosa chaat . The portions were small and even after requesting the food was not made spicy.

It’s a good place to eat Indian/Pakistani food. Butter chicken was quite good – loved it. Biryani was a bit let down as was very mildly spiced. The service was good but the place is quite busy often so expect the food to take some time. Sitting arrangements are similar to like a “dhaba” – fairly basic. Prices are on the higher side but very comparable to similar places. Overall, good experience.

I tried this restaurant because the one close to it was not good. But unfortunately this one too seem to have low quality Indian food. One of the only two restaurants that served mediocre Indian food during my trip to Switzerland. No where in Switzerland will you find sub quality food except in these two restaurants close to each other. Most probably due to large number of tourists. I wouldn’t recommend this place for anyone visiting Interlaken.

All 8 of us had an incredible meal. We were surprised to see several similar restaurants next to each other at similar price points but thought that might be a testament to the quality that each restaurant offered. Definitely not a fast service, but well worth the wait for fresh and flavorful entrees. Highly recommend.

Food and service. Since I tried the food here, I would recommend this place. Located near to the city centre of Interlaken, it is at walking distance from the train station. The food is delicious, full with flavours and customised as per your wish, the portions are good as per the prices offered. Samosa is good and Chicken Tikka masala is absolutely recommended. There is a chain of restaurants located next to it, but we saw more crowd at this place. And I am happy to say that our decision to eat here was good. The people at service are nice and friendly. I will definitely come here when I visit Interlaken next time.

My dad left a review but the owner said we never went there… Food was alright, channay were crunchy. Biryani wasn’t that great. I rated all 1 star because the owner commented back lying saying we never ate there.. here’s receipt for proof.
